Hey there,

Since Ixalan came to the stores, I loved the theme, but also saw a little lack of power for the pirates in comparisson to my play group. Now that I moved towns and entered a new meta, I want to jump back to my old idea: I want to have a pirate theme, not just a tribal.

Here starts my problem however: I want to have a working deck, but 100% on theme! No exceptions allowed! Therefore, EDH staples like Sol Ring and Skullclamp will not have any Chance moving in (at least ATM that there is no artwork that fits to the pirate theme). Same is true for other mana rock staples like Izzet Signet or Rakdos Signet. Instead I will Need to bite the bullet and take "Ramp" like Braidwood Sextant. The deck also lacks targeted and mass removal, as it is hard to finde a pirate themed board wipe.

I never built a themed deck however and really wanted some help of you!
