{R}{U}{G} Ureni of the Unwritten {R}{U}{G}

I was really excited about the release of the Temur Roar Precon deck and decided to upgrade the deck as a Dragon Tribal deck built around Ureni of the Unwritten; the goal is to "compete" in Bracket 4 while remaining in theme as much as possible. The Sideboard cards are more options to adjust to a Pods Interpretation of Power Level/Bracket and or ready-to-go Game Changer substitutions for those who do not want to be asked if they "Pay the {1}?" or absolutely reject extra turns and mass land denial rather than meta/matchup substitutions.

Deck Details: Show

As of now with playtesting and brewing in a vacuum; the decks is consistent but a little slow. The first turn the deck plays a land (Sol Ring?) and passes; then through turns 4/5 Ramp as much as possible and maybe setup a haste enabler or draw engine like Temur Ascendancy or similar. The Deck usually is able to amass 7+ Mana or at least reduce casting costs of Dragons in the same way by Turn 5/6.

This deck aims to win by ramping into Dragons to burn the Opponents/Threats with ETB via Dragon Tempest/Terror of the Peaks/Scourge of Valkas (which can get really silly with Sarkhan, Soul Aflame/Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm in play) and attacking with them boosted by effects like Canopy Gargantuan/Twinflame Tyrant. Another angle of approach is to ramp and establish a Superior board presence with Ureni of the Unwritten in play and then Boom / Bust/Wildfire the table; With the idea that the rest of the table wont be able to catch or keep up. The alternate WinCon is a lucky Hellkite Tyrant, a Janky Infinite turns Mystical Tutor + Seasons Past + Time Warp combo and a funny Wrathful Red Dragon being in play with big sweepers like Star of Extinction/Blasphemous Act.

This is how the Season's Past combo works for our deck to go infinite turns:

This is the bread and butter of Intet, the Dreamer build and the way we take all the turns. There are a couple requirements to fulfill; First off in order to start this combo we need 12 mana ({G}{G} and {U}{U}{U} for colors). The basic cards are Seasons Past , Time Warp , and Mystical TutorGC , essentially how it works is that we cast Time Warp to gain an extra turn, cast Seasons Past to grab back our Time Warp and any other goodies, cast Mystical TutorGC to put back Seasons Past back on top of the deck. Begin the next turn and start all over with the exception of Seasons Past grabbing Mystical TutorGC as well, and now we begin ad infinitum.

Now Intet, the Dreamer shortens the process when we have her on the field, essentially she cuts the mana requirement down to 9. So all we need is to have enough mana to cast our extra turn as well as our tutor, so in best case scenario that would be our Time Warp , Mystical TutorGC , and her cost to activate her ability.
