Main Combos:

  1. Breya, Etherium Shaper + Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks + Nim Deathmantle is the base infinite combo of this deck. It gives you lots of options, depending on how you want to finish off your opponents. You sacrifice Breya, Etherium Shaper, who is a creature, but also an artifact and one of her Thopters to Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks to generate mana which you can use to return sacrificed Breya, Etherium Shaper from your graveyard to the battlefield with Nim Deathmantle with two Thopters. Every time she comes back you get an additional Thopter token which you can eventually use to gain infinite life, infinite mana or deal infinite damage.

  2. Since the main combo will get you enormous amount of hate from other players, it's good to have something else up your sleeve. This is where Eldrazi Displacer steps in. Breya, Etherium Shaper + Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks + Eldrazi Displacer works pretty much the same as the combo above. The difference is that you sacrifice two Thopters to generate , blink Breya with Eldrazi Displacer to get two Thopters and . With the infinite mana you start creating infinite Thopters.

Back-up Plans and Additional (hate generating) Combos:

But what if someone removes your infinite mana generation pieces from the game?

  1. Well, let's take a look at the mighty Purphoros, God of the Forge. Without the infinite mana you still can make a mess out of your opponents. All you need to do is blink Breya, Etherium Shaper with Eldrazi Displacer and Purphoros, God of the Forge will deal 6 damage to every opponent. You usually should be able to generate which lets you repeat the process three or even more times. Ouch. No Displacer on the board? Use a tutor to find Myr Battlesphere and hit your opponents with 10 damage instead! You can also include Panharmonicon for double damage.

  2. Sharuum the Hegemon + Phyrexian Metamorph duo. Phyrexian Metamorph enters the battlefield as a copy of Sharuum the Hegemon. Legend rule applies, Sharuum the Hegemon goes into graveyard, but wait... It returns right away? Yup, thanks to ETB effect of the copy. Guess what happens when you also have Disciple of the Vault, Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Master and/or Purphoros, God of the Forge on the board. Infinite damage? Again!? Or... in case you got bored with getting rid of your opponents that easily and you'd rather see them squirl use Bitter Ordeal, leaving them with cards of your choice like, lets say... only lands.

  3. Mindslaver + Academy Ruins. Mindslaver works best during 1 vs 1 games, because most of the cases you will be able to only use it once. Academy Ruins allows you to put Mindslaver from your graveyard on top of your library, so you can do it multiple times.

  4. Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek. If you're able to generate infinite mana, this card combination lets you generate infinite life. If not then you simply get lots of life and tokens each turn. Just sacrifice Sword of the Meek to Thopter Foundry for , you get one Thopter and one life. Since Thopter is 1/1 Sword of the Meek comes back from the graveyard and you can sacrifice it once again. It works well with our friends Disciple of the Vault, Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Master and Purphoros, God of the Forge.

  5. Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek + Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks. This combo is upgraded version of the combo above with infinite mana. It's not something I go for, because it needs too many combo pieces, but if you are able to gather all those cards on the battlefield you get infinite Thopters/mana/life.

  6. Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve infinite turns. Every upkeep (with no Breya on board) you get 5 artifacts to sacrifice. This combo doesn't give you win, it ends the game in draw, so be sure to find a way to kill your opponents by damage during those turns. UPDATE (04.07.2017): I decided to remove this combo.

  7. Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead infinite loop. The only thing you need to do is put Worldgorger Dragon into graveyard with Faithless Looting, Thirst for Knowledge, Windfall or Daretti, Scrap Savant. Then target Worldgorger with Animate Dead to create infinite loop and infinite mana (by tapping lands every time permaments are back on the battlefield). The loop itself also ends the game in draw unless you are able to kill your opponents with ETB ability or simply by casting and sacrificing Breya with infinite mana. To end the loop you just target another creature in the graveyard. UPDATE (11.05.2017): I decided to remove this combo.

  8. Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond to generate infinite mana. Simply sac Lion's Eye Diamond for 3 and return it with Auriok Salvagers with 2 .

Getting the Combo Pieces:

  1. Unwritten M:tG rule says that the card you need is most likely to be on the bottom of your library or will be on top of your library right after you die. That's why we need tutors like Enlightened Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Stoneforge Mystic, Fabricate, Arcum Dagsson, Kuldotha Forgemaster, Whir of Invention, Muddle the Mixture or Inventors' Fair to get the most essential combo pieces Ashnod's Altar or Nim Deathmantle.

  2. Your opponets are starting to lose it. They get ride of your dangerous permaments, whipe your board. It hurt a little but well, it's not like there' nothing you can do, ekhm... Academy Ruins, Goblin Welder, Sharuum the Hegemon, Yawgmoth's Will

Updates Add

Yet another minor upgrade to speed up things and make mana base more stable. I intend to run just four basic lands: Island, Swamp, Mountain and Plains since I need to cast Breya, Etherium Shaper as fast as possible and mana color used to be a problem sometime.

I also got rid of Panharmonicon since it was just too slow. Turn 3/4 instead of casting it I was able to win the game. I replaced it with Wheel of Fortune a.k.a. "Draw 7 for " which gives enormous card advantage.

Just like Panharmonicon Duplicant was way too slow. Imagine having him in your opening hand when all you want to do is find your combo pieces as fast as possible. Just nope. Chrome Mox on the other hand gets the job done. I get rid of card I don't need at the time and cast Breya, Etherium Shaper turn earlier.

  • -Swamp +Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
  • -Plains +Cascade Bluffs
  • -Mountain +Graven Cairns
  • -Panharmonicon +Wheel of Fortune
  • -Duplicant +Chrome Mox
  • -Thopter Spy Network +Yawgmoth's Will
