Anax and Cymede, King and Queen of Akros, peered out from their Clifftop Retreat. Cymede turned to her husband, her gaze seared with the lingering static of the bolt that had awakened her foresight during her first years in the army. The memory of the strike crackled in her mind as she spoke.

"Anax, the minotaur hordes are approaching from the Wastes," she warned. "We must prepare for battle."

They equipped the Helm of the Gods, Ethereal Armor, Swiftfoot Boots, and Sword of the Animist to please Iroas, God of Victory. Seeking Shelter in the Mountains, Baird, Argivian Recruiter gathered the forces. Their Monastery Mentor advised them of the battle to come.

"We will be victorious this day, Gods Willing," the mentor declared. "The enemy draws near. Let us Center Soul that we may Emerge Unscathed as we Condemn the monsters seeking to Revoke (our) Existence."

Having faith in Iroas, they charged.

"Push them down the Path to Exile!" Anax shouted at Full Throttle as they collided with the horde.

A Mesa Enchantress heard the commotion and came out of a Forgotten Cave bringing Sigarda's Aid with her. The battle raged on and minotaur blood spilled across the Warped Landscape. Anax harnessed the full potential of his Sunforger which unleashed a Twinferno upon his foes. At his side Cymede drew power from the land with each swing of the Sword of the Animist.

Just as the onslaught began to overwhelm the Akroan army, Iroas sent the angel Feather, the Redeemed to support them, her divine presence igniting a Psychotic Fury within Anax. His soldiers followed him with Unquestioned Authority, ready to Seize the Day alongside their King. Once the remaining enemies were consumed by the Wrath of God, the victors traveled to Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to celebrate such a legendary Feat of Resistance.

Deck Strategy: Voltron Anax and Cymede with auras and equipments. Make use of instant speed protection/indestructible spells to help keep them alive while activating Heroic for +1/+1 and Trample for the turn. Instant speed Double Strike hits especially hard when unblocked, but even if they're blocked a Heroic trigger should get some commander damage through because of the Trample. Extra Combat steps can wipe the table in a single turn.
