A focused Ur-Dragon deck with the goal being to out attrition everyone at the table.

Game Plan:

The deck aims to ramp up and start developing a board full of dragons as quickly as possible and then refilling the hand so that it can do so again the following turn, or immediately begin recovering from any kind of nonsense that gets thrown at it such as board wipes and similar interaction (Commonly, it'll be getting papa The Ur-Dragon out and swinging in for card draw).

Acceleration:

Acceleration for the deck is very land-based, with the Bouncelands (such as Rakdos Carnarium) allowing the deck to benefit from having effects that play multiple lands without losing too much card advantage immediately.

Effects like Burgeoning, Exploration, and Azusa, Lost but Seeking fill this role, while basic land search such as Cultivate and Kodama's Reach allow for the searching of lands of specific colors to fill out missing ones for casting specific dragons. The deck runs thirty-six lands for this reason. Extra land play effects wouldn't be very useful if most of the opening turns weren't hands filled with lands.

Of course, that begs the question, how the deck is supposed to take advantage of all that early ramp when it's so slot-intensive?

Card Advantage:

The deck runs a multitude of constant card-draw effects. Besides The Ur-Dragon that draws a card whenever a dragon attacks (as well as put a permanent into play), cards like Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Verity Circle all allow the deck to take advantage of opponent's playing the game by drawing cards when spells are cast or mana-producing creatures are tapped for mana.

Additional cards like Greater Good and Kindred Discovery allow the getting additional card advantage from dragons that are played before they even attack. Greater Good can actually be used in response to a board-wipe effect. Damnation? Terminus? I'll sacrifice all of my dragons to draw a lot of cards!
