This is my attempt at that fantastic Simic Sea Monster that is Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

As I've stated in other builds, I have a fatal weakness for Simic decks and am building this even though my simic cards are pulled thin at the moment. This will be a work in progress but I couldn't stand to just have this beauty sitting in my folder not doing anything any longer

Idea is simple. Abuse lands to out value my opponents and even run a few land based combos.

Main goals are;

Dropping extra lands through the likes of our commander Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Exploration type effects.

Grave land plays from Ramunap Excavator and Ancient Greenwarden which give extra value to my fetches (more of which will be added as time goes on, thank you Modern Horizons 2 for the bountiful reprints)

A sweet little combo with Scute Swarm, Risen Reef and Parcelbeast that hopefully floods the board with mutated Parcel/Swarm tokens

And a Labman combo that works from having Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Retreat to Coralhelm, and one of our tap to put a land from hand into play effects on the board with either Guildless Commons or Simic Growth Chamber in hand. There are other cards that play into the same combo or slight alterations of it including Field of the Dead and Kodama of the East Tree for infinite zombie tokens.
