Intet, the Dreamer edh deck. Cast free spells, have fun! cuz nobody else is gonna.

She is the weakest out of all the rug generals by cost and ability. Her ability allows you to cast the top card of your library without paying its cost. So she needs a lot of top of library manipulation so i can setup big costing, normally game ending spells that either gives me a really dominant board state, or let me take extra turns that take up 10+ minutes while slowly bringing a beatdown with Intet. The struggle can be real.

Deck runs a lot of ramp since there is a lot of high cost. Gilded Lotus,Solemn Simulacrum, Nature's Lore and Kodama's Reach are some of them. So there is a decent amount in artifact, sorcery and creature base ramp in order to cast Intet as early as possible.

There is a good amount of top deck manipulation like Sensei's Divining Top,Sylvan Library,Soothsaying and Brainstorm. Worldly Tutor and Mystical Tutor put em right on top. The last two mainly fetch Time Stretch/Tooth and Nail. T&N for Terastodon and Avenger of Zendikar or Consecrated Sphinx and Seedborn Muse. Extra turns route normally ends the game a lot faster as you normally draw into graveyard reccursion like Eternal Witness, Regrowth or Noxious Revival to keep doing it.

RUG doesn't have a lot of board wipes, but Cyclonic Rift, Blasphemous Act and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon do a decent job. Hull Breach, Decimate, Trygon Predator and Acidic Slime are great at destroying annoying cards. Reality Shift and Pongify are cheap creature killers since these colors lack those. Always gotta have some counter spells when available, so Cryptic Command, Pact of Negation, Voidslime plus a few others are there.

Haste isn't really necessary in the deck but Fires of Yavimaya is in there for the late game when intets been killed a few times. Dualcaster Mage and Misdirection are there for some cheap copy, one is a body and the other is normally free with the amount of blue.

Rest of the deck is just utility creatures, ramp and more cards that are part of what's already explained above. Good/staple cards in the colors to round up the rest of the deck. The list is not final so changes can or most likely will be made in the future or at least till Temur-Black comes out from the commander set in October.

Updates Add

Been a while since i've updated this list. Not a whole lot has changed at the moment, but i'm sure the deck will be more tuned in the upcoming week. Thanks to a few suggestions and cards i've been wanting to replace for a while.

  • Tezzeret the Seeker > Jace, the Mind Sculptor > Jace is one less mana and allows top deck manipulation by himself. Just an overall better walker than Tezzeret, i'd put in both but don't have the room. Tezz is good for getting artifact ramp and sensei's but that's about it.

  • Wood Elves > Nature's Lore > One less mana and does the same thing, although you don't get a 1/1 it just gets intet out faster. Removed birthing pod so the use wasn't as good.

  • Crystal Ball > Chrome Mox > 3 mana for a scry isn't that great, would rather just have another mana artifact.

  • Birthing Pod > Proteus Staff > Pod was mainly for the utility creatures, but the curve isn't the best and staff gets rid of tougher creatures to deal with so it was the better option.

  • Exploration > Burgeoning > First turn burgeoning with a bunch of lands is hard to beat. Although exploration is way more consistently useful, the deck already has a lot of ramp. I might add both of em in, not sure.

  • Mina and Denn, Wildborn > Lotus Cobra > Already have both Oracles and Thrasios. Early Cobra combined with fetches can be explosive. Ramp spells with it out are twice as useful since you still gain mana to use to cast spells, even better if the lands come into play untapped. So it does a good job for being 2 less mana and 1 less color.
