Preliminary brew of Zirda, the Dawnwaker.

Introduction

Zirda as a commander offers Boros an infinite mana enabler from the command zone, finishing with an outlet like Fireball or Walking Ballista. The deck leans on stax pieces alongside the limited stack interaction suite available to Boros.

Plan A is to assemble either Grim Monolith + Zirda, the Dawnwaker or Basalt Monolith + Zirda, the Dawnwaker executing the win via one of the included big mana outlets.

As a backup plan Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond offers an alternative infinite mana combo requiring Walking Ballista either in hand, on the battlefield or in the graveyard.

Similarly, the combination of Lion's Eye Diamond + Underworld Breach + Wheel of Fortune offers an additional route to victory whilst limiting the number of otherwise dead cards in the deck.

Codex Shredder and Basalt Monolith both layer with Rings of Brighthearth which might make the cut.
