Aggro - a beautiful concept.

Welcome to Steel 'n' Style, an aggressive and value-oriented EDH concoction. The premise of the deck is function without our beloved general Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis on the field. K & T is more like an emergency button - if you are looking for a group hug build of K & T, I suggest that you look elsewhere as this build is focused on dealing damage to our opponents without any remorse - we cast our general when we need a bit more gas to completely steamroll the opposition.

The plan is to play early creatures like Tireless Tracker, Chasm Skulker, Managorger Hydra, and other threats that scale over time. We supplement this with political cards like Grenzo, Havoc Raiser and Edric, Spymaster of Trest to get lots of card advantage and hopefully convince our opponents to attack each other.

We have lots of utility and recursion to make sure the job gets done. Dig Through Time, Seasons Past, Eternal Witness, and Sun Titan let us reuse our threats, tutors, and removal, while powerful walkers like Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Sarkhan Unbroken, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, and others represent threats and card advantage that will straight up win us the game if left unanswered.

There are also numerous synergies/locks that can be deadly when assembled:

Kaseto, Orochi Archmage + Grenzo, Havoc Raiser/Edric, Spymaster of Trest = repeated goad/steal cards/card draw

Mentor of the Meek/Skullclamp + Assemble the Legion = VERY DRAW, MUCH WOW

Rishkar, Peema Renegade + throne of the god pharoah = slowly burn everyone down. TGFNMB (Thank goodness for no mana burn :D)

...and many more.

Please note that to make aggro K & T more competitive, cards like Tooth and Nail, Craterhoof Behemoth, Sylvan Library, Imperial Recruiter, Path to Exile, etc. should be added. They are not here due to budget considerations and playgroup power level considerations. Some of these competitive cards are listed in the maybeboard. Cards which I am considering are listed in the sideboard.

Thanks to everyone for tuning in :) Hopefully I will be able to write a proper primer for aggro K & T, so suggestions and critiques are more than appreciated. From my experience, it's a largely unexplored and underrated build of K & T, so I hope to shed some light on a brand new strategy to not only try to convince people of the enormous political value of K & T, but also that decks can be self-sufficient and can function perfectly well without their commander in play (or eminence).
