To take full advantage of both of our Commander's abilities. Always preferring to let it hit the graveyard as we can cast it from there with its second ability whenever another Phoenix dies after its in the graveyard. This then triggers its first ability, which can target itself as the Phoenix.

• Make creatures leave our graveyard (LTG) most on their own, thanks to being Phoenix, or with some help; Beacon of Unrest / Bojuka Bog / Chainer, Nightmare Adept / Graveshifter / Malakir Rebirth   / Mortuary Mire / Patriarch's Bidding / Phyrexian Reclamation / Raise the Draugr / Takenuma, Abandoned Mire / Tortured Existence / Victimize
• Enjoy some nice payoffs for LTG/ETB Desecrated Tomb / Flayer of the Hatebound / Impact Tremors / Molten Echoes / Purphoros, God of the Forge / Syr Konrad, the Grim / Tormod, the Desecrator / Warstorm Surge
