Re-trying out the Chicken Dinner; It’s the Redux Baby!!! This is the 10th(ish) attempt of t h i s particular Esper Deck. 39th overall if my count is correct… Lemmie know, thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Would love any + all feedback! On to my regular writings:

“Come get your Chicken Dinner!!!” “…Fresh off the grill. So come on down to -STATIC- Where friends meet to eat…”“BWAK!”

Alright enough of that, "Chicken Dinner @ FB Farm" is my Ship of Thesius. I’ve experimented with Mono Black both in the late 90’s and as my starter EDH deck when I came back to MtG pre-pandemic. Azorius has been a good fit when it came to being on the same field with CEDH players and their above Level 9 decks (yay power level discussions and such for Rule 0). This would be my third time back using the Partner Pairing of Tymna the Weaver *f-etch* + Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator *f-etch*, let's see if I learned anything.

  • -“Low and Slow” :(Needs these cards) Grafdigger's Cage, Into the Flood Maw, Voice of Victory, Grand Abolisher, Orcish Bowmasters, Opposition Agent, Delney, Streetwise Lookout & Rev, Tithe Extractor. End Goal: There is only one combo on the menu and everyone is such a QuickShot these days (wanting to end the game by turn 2 or 3). These delightful Semi-Stax pieces are for those Opponents who like to: -Search their Decks. -Draw. Or -Other annoying things while the Table gets set for the Main Entrée. Patience is needed when it comes to fine dining; Enjoy the feast!

  • -“Friends in L O W places”: :(Needs these cards) Thassa's Oracle using: Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. End Goal: You know the combo, you love the back up: It’s Thassa’s Oracle!! (With their Copiers as backup, see below!) Use Either/Or with Demonic Consult/Tainted Pact to win the game Buuuuuuuuuuuddy!
  • - “Again” :(Needs these cards) Necropotence utilizing Voice of Victory & Grand Abolisher as Double Cup Protection and Borne Upon a Wind, Valley Floodcaller + High Fae Trickster as Flash Enablers and any Copier in 99. End Goal: Damn, Opps didn't want you to win normally? Well why not try during your End Step?!? Use Necro to find the pieces above and to copy Thassa again or for the first time!!

    • I would love suggestions on other disgusting Combos in these colors. I need consistent & consistent improvement to actually start getting wins in, especially with the playgroups and shops I apparently go to! I appreciate you all very much for your input!
