With Borborygmos Enraged as your commander, you want to ramp early until you get to his casting cost of 8 mana. Once he's in play, you want to hoard a bunch of lands in your hand and be ready to discard them with Borborygmos' ability, which turns each land in your hand into a free Lightning Bolt. Note that the oracle text for Borborygmos's last ability has been revised to say: "Discard a land card: Borborygmos Enraged deals 3 damage to any target." This means you can also target planeswalkers! Use the lands to control the board until you're ready to deal the damage directly to your opponents for the win!

The decks contains 50 lands, so drawing them in general should not be an issue, but in order to make them a real threat to your opponents, you need ways to get multiple lands in hand every turn. Cards like Seek the Horizon, You Happen on a Glade, and Wrenn and Seven will help you draw them from your library. Once discarded, you also have ways to get those lands back to hand from your graveyard, such as with Life from the Loam, Groundskeeper, and Tilling Treefolk. Most notably, you can return all lands in your graveyard back to your hand with Creeping Renaissance and Pair o' Dice Lost (lands have 0 mana cost so they are guaranteed, while any other cards you get back from the dice rolls are a bonus).

Of course, you don't need to wait for Borborygmos to be on the battlefield to fill your graveyard with lands. The deck contains a ton of lands that sacrifice themselves such as Evolving Wilds, Fabled Passage, and Ghost Quarter, as well as cycling lands like Tranquil Thicket. Bag of Holding is potentially one of the best cards in the deck as you can play it on turn 1 and store all the discarded lands there (whether discarded through cycling or through Borborygmos) until you're ready to bring them back to your hand later - just watch out for artifact removal.

If you don't draw ways to bring the lands from the graveyard directly to hand, playing them from the graveyard with Conduit of Worlds or Ramunap Excavator are also good plays. You can then return the lands to hand from the battlefield with cards like Living Twister and Mina and Denn, Wildborn. Even bounce lands like Guildless Commons and Jungle Basin can help you find the extra damage you need in a pinch while keeping the same amount of mana output on board.

The deck also contains ways to make the lands you discard with Borborygmos even more lethal. Use Rings of Brighthearth or Illusionist's Bracers to copy the ability, allowing you to hit two targets with each land or double the damage to the same target. You can also increase or double the damage with Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Dictate of the Twin Gods and the Insult half of Insult / Injury. The damage only compounds if you can get multiples of these cards in play together.

Finally, perhaps the two best cards in the deck are Keen Sense and Snake Umbra. Use them to enchant Borborygmos, and then every time he deals damage to an opponent by discarding a land, you draw a card! With such a high land count in the deck, you can potentially string together several lands in a row where you discard a land for damage, draw a land, discard it for damage, draw another land, and so on. Of course, Keen Sense and Snake Umbra will also draw cards whenever Borborygmos deals combat damage. Don't forget that Borborygmos is a 7-power commander with trample, so beating someone with commander damage is also a real possibility, especially if you can use your lands to clear opposing creatures.

A fearsome cyclops, wild and untamed
Borborygmos Enraged, his fury proclaimed
With power immense and rage aflame
A temper fierce, he knows no shame

A trail of wreckage shows his might
As he topples mountains out of pure spite
With his Bag of Holding secured and tight
Each Blasphemous Act starts a new fight

With a Keen Sense for destruction and such
And Kodama's Reach for expanding his clutch
He levels forests with a swing of his crutch
And shakes the earth with each simple touch

Borborygmos Enraged, power unveiled
His Beast Within cannot be curtailed
A City on Fire wherever he trails
Throwin’ dirt, his enemies impaled

I am a casual, budget player and my goal is to always keep my commander decks within $100 or close to it. Any suggestions to improve the deck while still keeping it within budget are appreciated!
