Stoic Builder

Creature — Human

When Stoic Builder enters the battlefield, you may return target land card from your graveyard to your hand.

Try this: -3 Mulldrifter, +3 Stoic Builder; -3 Harrow, +3 Pulse of Murasa; -3 Brainstorm, +3 Adventurous Impulse. Maybe go down to 2 or 3 each of EW/TE.

Ah yes, mana curve. I always forget something, lol. In that case maybe swap out Stoic Builder? My friend and I have a slight fascination with Brian, and have been messing around with it for a while now. It seems very "build-around-me" most of the time, but is also capable of being a good back-up/alternate plan.

Might just work here. Let me know how it goes! =)

Sadly this kinda deck wouldn't hold up in my meta at all. Seems totally alright, though I do not understand the choice of commander when looking at the list. I see close to no sacrifices in the deck (Yahenni, merciless resolve and Kalitas). Also many of the cards are straight up bad... And with better counterparts at a low pricepoint. Instead of Merciless Resolve you could run Costly Plunder. Bone Splinters seems good, you have very few artifacts or artifact creatures considering how many delirium cards you run. I don't get why you don't run Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse, Desert of the Indomitable etc for the same purpose: turn on delirium. How do you plan on finding value with Stoic Builder?

In case you didn't want to build anything good (which i totally respect), just ignore me ;)

Seriously though: Hand of Death?

Hi chiri! Yes. Yes absolutely Ramunap Excavator. I haven't upgraded my decks to their Hour of Devastation versions yet. My favorite thing about the Excavator is that he can't be interacted with until after you've gotten to use him at least once. So at worst, he's an improved Stoic Builder. Thanks for the suggestion :>

Hi hoardofnotions: thank you for your feedback

Quarry Beetle and Stoic Builder are nice fits indeed: I didn't know what to cut but you provided some excellent suggestions, so thanks for that. Though I must say that you should not underestimate the impact of Isolation Cell. In such a deck as this one it is truly devastating: it slows and punishes your opponent at the same time.

Ramunap Excavator: excellent call, I haven't got him yet...definitely a must

Skullclamp I am less enthusiastic about: the extra cards are welcome, but he will destroy my small critters, while they are necessary for both blocking and attacking.

I hadn't added Volcanic Offering because it targets while I aim to destroy it all: but the card does have the advantage of having a lot of effects rolled into one. I think I need to reconsider.

Magnivore: yes, it can grow big. It is a shame really that it does not have trample (though it does have haste). I need to test him.

I will check out your deck.
