You have to sacrifice the Ravaging Riftwurm now.
The "When the last is removed, sacrifice it" part of the reminder text of the Vanishing ability represents a separate triggered ability that triggers when the last time counter is removed for any reason, whether it's because of the normal removal that happens during the upkeep or due to some other effect.
702.62 Vanishing
702.62a Vanishing is a keyword that represents three abilities. “Vanishing N” means “This permanent enters the battlefield with N time counters on it,” “At the beginning of your upkeep, if this permanent has a time counter on it, remove a time counter from it,” and “When the last time counter is removed from this permanent, sacrifice it.”
702.62b Vanishing without a number means “At the beginning of your upkeep, if this permanent has a time counter on it, remove a time counter from it” and “When the last time counter is removed from this permanent, sacrifice it.”
702.62c If a permanent has multiple instances of vanishing, each works separately.

I have Tayam, Luminous Enigma and i play let's say Ravaging Riftwurm (or any other vanishing/time counter creature). So as Ravaging Riftwurm resolves it has 2 time counters and vigilance counter. Than i use Tayam, Luminous Enigma ability and remove those 3 counters from Ravaging Riftwurm. My question is do i have to sacrifice Ravaging Riftwurm at upkeep cause there is no time counters? My guess is that i don't have to. Cause of Vanishing wording i have to sacrifice it when i remove the last counter. But if there is no time counter to remove it will remain on the battlefield. Am i right? Thank you

I agree with SaintDaft - I'll likely pull something (like Ravaging Riftwurm for Rhonas the Indomitable - pumping infinite mana into Rhonas is GG.
I'll also be adding Thragtusk to the deck for lifegain and a creature. If I have infinite mana, and Temur Sabertooth, that's infinite 3/3s and infinite life.

Adding onto additional swamps giving access to land destruction like Icequake there's also, all of which are Mono-Black Land Destruction pauper staple cards:
- Befoul
- Rancid Earth
- Choking Sands (a bit less budget-y)
Novablast Wurm is super tough to get out onto the battlefield no matter what corners you cut with ramp. I actually suggest trying just Green/Black and not worrying about White so much. I'd also suggest some dual lands to smooth out the mana needed for spells:
Some other Wurms worth considering are:
- 1x Sifter Wurm, some life gain.
- 1x Engulfing Slagwurm, also for life gain.
- 1x Elderscale Wurm
- 1x Bellowing Tanglewurm
- 2-3x Ravaging Riftwurm, scary early game, useful late game.
With the Wurm theme less feels like more. I don't think Greater Sandwurm is particularly mean or scary or overly useful (since you can play a cheap green tutor rather than the 2 mana cycle cost to help thin your deck).
If there's ever a time you feel like splurging, Wurmcoil Engine is hands down my favorite Wurm card and probably one of, if not my favorite Artifact Creature in Magic. Super scary and good at all points of the game.
Hope some of this was useful!
