Gattison The pay offs you just mentioned for black actually synergize with the Cleansing Wildfire and Geomancer's Gambit in that by helping our opponent search up lands we leave them with less lands and make both Destroy the Evidence and Balustrade Spy mill our opponents for more. Black also has the diverse Befoul for land or nonblack creature removal. Another cool idea is to lean into your Psychic Venom and also run Contaminated Ground so that you can really make their spells cost them.
I totally get what you're saying about playtesting in a vaccum and not wanting to make people play against it a bunch XD - that makes building ponza all the more difficult! love what you'v

There’s not much targeted land distraction here, surprisingly. Both black and red have access to a plethora of spells that specifically target lands; you may want to focus more on these in particular. Crack the Earth could be satisfied by any permanent, and is giving your opponent the choice. Consider cards like Rain of Tears, Befoul, Molten Rain, Roiling Terrain or Boom / Bust—-they give you the advantage of choosing which land to sunder.

you could also add in a Howling Mine it might help ya or it might hurt ya... just depends on what the other guy is playing, may also want to have a Tormod's Crypt at least as part of a sideboard as well.

Novablast Wurm is super tough to get out onto the battlefield no matter what corners you cut with ramp. I actually suggest trying just Green/Black and not worrying about White so much. I'd also suggest some dual lands to smooth out the mana needed for spells:
Some other Wurms worth considering are:
- 1x Sifter Wurm, some life gain.
- 1x Engulfing Slagwurm, also for life gain.
- 1x Elderscale Wurm
- 1x Bellowing Tanglewurm
- 2-3x Ravaging Riftwurm, scary early game, useful late game.
With the Wurm theme less feels like more. I don't think Greater Sandwurm is particularly mean or scary or overly useful (since you can play a cheap green tutor rather than the 2 mana cycle cost to help thin your deck).
If there's ever a time you feel like splurging, Wurmcoil Engine is hands down my favorite Wurm card and probably one of, if not my favorite Artifact Creature in Magic. Super scary and good at all points of the game.

Nice +1... You have the only other Dimir Pauper Stax Prison deck here on T/O. I have the other: Salt Mine Prison Escape...although we have some similar strategies, mine is more land-hate. Have you considered using Contaminated Ground or Psychic Venom instead of Befoul? Also, really like Paralyze, I think it's better than Singing Bell Strike.

replace Befoul for Ruinous Path or Never to return from amonkhet, a Swamp for Crypt of Agadeem, and consider these artifacts as they would work great with your deckBlade of the Bloodchief, Caged Sun, Door of Destinies, Extraplanar Lens, Lashwrithe, Stoneforge Masterwork, Urza's Incubator

Learn from the Past Kind of really narrow but devastating to certain decks/matchups we may see. Also if we arent against a big graveyard based threat, it in essence has built in 1U Cycling since it cantrips. Except that counts as a cast and grows the +1/+1s. It answers something that is powerful when abused and it's ENTIRELEY worthless outside those matchups. Grim Affliction I'd argue this is an autoinclude for sure. For obvious reasons I think. Trail of Evidence not sure if this would end up worthwhile or just choke a card slot but looked interesting. Viral Drake Gives us some air blocker meat and a way for you to dump mana at their end step if you have some left and help us grow. Howling Mine was also on my list. We want spells cast we just want to them mitigate them so we are going to need the fuel/card draw to make sure we have the RIGHT answers. Baleful Strix is pure value in most any deck. Cantrips and 1 time deadly air defense. Ghost Quarter, Encroaching Wastes, Strip Mine, Tectonic Edge, Wasteland - a couple to take care of possible show stoppers like Maze of Ith against us would be nice. Not to mention all the other utility lands people run we might want gone. I have too many slots dedicated to fixing so i cant run many of these colorless only sources. (though I did still slot a Wasteland). There's a ton of land destruction at sorcery in black, but i dont want to clog too many slots with something other than removal or it's going to get inconsistent fast. Befoul is probably on point for the versatility of it. I dream of Helldozer lmao but probably not...
