Week 2, some new additions
Reuben_Medik, 1 month ago
When I went to look through my collection for some recommended cards (Thanks again TheoryCrafter!) I came across some things that I honestly didn't know I had. And so I've made a few changes
Firstly, I got rid of Kor Celebrant. It gives 1 hp every time a creature I control enters the battlefield, but I'm not gonna be doing that a whole lot. I'm also going to be looking into different ways to give myself health as a second wincon. Anyway, Strict Proctor costs 1 less, has flying and counters all triggered abilities from ETBs. I don't have many of those, and so this could be a huge boon
Next was Murder, a 3 cmc removal instant, which is cool I guess, but 3 is a bit too much when there are cheaper options. However, Damn has two casting options, one for a target creature and one for ALL creatures. As far as I understand it, if I flip Essence of Antiquity face up, I can grant my creatures Hexproof and then use Damn to destroy everything else
Then I saw Gloom Pangolin. It's a 3cmc 1/5. Although it would get +4/+4 from Doran, it doesn't really do much else. Which is why I have removed it for Twilight Prophet. Although it'd only get a +2/+2 from Doran, it makes up for it by having flying, Ascend and it grants the ability to heal myself and deal damage to my opponents equal to the CMC of the top card of my library, which I then pout into my hand
Finally, I removed a number of my basic lands and exchanged them for things like Graypelt Refuge, Orzhov Guildgate and more. Mainly so I could get more potential value from Eerie Ultimatum. It probably won't be needed, but it would also give me slightly more flexibility when it comes to my mana base
Just a littler simpler

I have removed Into the North, an Icy Swamp, and a Frosty Forest. In their lieu, I have added Shared Roots, Takenuma, Abandoned Mire, and a Warm Forest.
Lorwyn Eclipsed
CavemanlyMan, 1 month ago
So, the changelings in Lorwyn Eclipsed were largely underwhelming. I have made only 2 changes to the deck. (With one other possible change that I declined to make)
First, one card I considered was Chomping Changeling. I feel like Masked Vandal has a hoop to jump through, but costing one less mana and having one more toughness makes it more valuable in my deck considering the draw engines. Besides Masked Vandal will soon be on the chopping block to make room for new unicorns anyhow.
Speaking of draw engines, Chronicle of Victory is pretty cool, and I pulled it at my prerelease event. It is taking the place of Zendikar Resurgent because even though double mana is cool, by the time I get to seven mana it doesn’t matter much anymore (not to mention I’ve probably played some unicorns and missed draw triggers already). Chronicle of Victory provides some late game value even with those shortcomings in mind (and it costs one less).
The other change I’ve made is putting Mutable Explorer in place of Universal Automaton. A one mana unicorn changeling is always good, but the other changelings just do more at this point, and having one that ramps a land (a land that is also a unicorn by the way) is something that is hard to come by in a deck with just one instant and sorcery each. Thus I feel the change is justified.

Bringing things up to speed
McDeity, 1 month ago
Cards from the past few years that may make it in, in some versions of the deck:
Sutina, Speaker of the Tajuru is a good Farhaven Elf with counter upside, but I don't think the mono-green version cares about counters. With the black version and the landfall Nissa, she (and the other Civic Wayfinders) get better.
Speaking of, Mutable Explorer and Primeval Herald both look good in that version.
Also regarding counter-buff elves, Tromell, Seymour's Butler is a lord, counter, and super-proliferate.
Tyvar, the Pummeler is a good buff lord-- can even use infinite mana. Don't know how much better he is than others, but comparable to Ezuri at least.
Selfless Safewright can be free, but requires untapped elves to function, possibly making it too limited. The deck may just not need Caller of the Claws anymore.
Dionus, Elvish Archdruid is too weird to theorize. Works well with Marwyn, maybe is good enough even at four mana?? Probably not enough targets to justify it.
Chronicle of Victory seems too costly, as was the case with The Great Henge. Vanquisher's Banner still about, as is Tribute to the World Tree.
Springleaf Parade is an interesting option.
20 elves have triggered abilities if Llanowar Visionary and Cultivator of Blades stay in for Roaming Throne
And then the slam-dunks:
Champions of the Perfect and Formidable Speaker both go in somewhere. Maybe Elvish Clancaller and Llanowar Visionary can go. Would also like another land and perhaps Mana Crypt with Marwayn at the helm.
Three Tree City is a good gem. Evendo, Waking Haven is likely too slow.
Boseiju, Who Endures is legit
Evendo, Waking Haven will sub in for now as Jungle Basin usually is too slow, but the planet may end up being too durdly as well.
Oran-Rief, the Vastwood Will probably get cut soon.
Abundant Countryside could be played, but it seems useless.
Mana Crypt really should go in now.
Kindred Summons may be too win-more instead of helpful
Lightning Greaves make more sense in the deck now with Marwyn as the commander.
——————
-Primordial Sage, + Champions of the Perfect
-Soul of the Harvest, + Formidable Speaker

-Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, + Sol Ring![]()

From my last update, there haven’t been much changes in Modern, with only a few cards making waves. I will continue to make changes as I see necessary, so don’t think this is the end of Mardu Pyromancer! Thank you all again for your upvotes, comments, and support!

This time the cards did not proven to be worthy :DI played against burn, poison storm and jund wildfire. In all matches I drew terrible first hands, mulled often and did not play much, so the opponents didn't even had to try too hard to absolutely obliterate me. But I have a few insights nonetheless.
Wildfire it's surprisingly playeable matchup as long as he do not draw shaman+toxin+fountain. The Masked Vandal wouldn't be too shaby, if I had them in the sideboard.
And I did try more rainbow lands with Spell Pierces in the side. That did not turn out too well. Even with the more rainbow lands I did have trouble to keep one blue mana open or even available. And the only thing the countermagic really hits are board wipes and counter magic. Against board wipes the Spidersilk armor could be used and against counterspells we could overwhelm them with stuff played in one turn.
Also the manabase change knocked down the exlosivenes of the deck quite a bit, these two mana from one land cards are really pumping this deck up. And I wouldn't recommend to go under 4-5 pieces.
Some form of another ramp would be really useful, but I am unable to find the right one. I tested the Malevolent Rumble and it wasn't terrible, but Winding Way wins by a small margin for me thanks to its better utility in the mid-game.
