Why do I wanna make this deck?

I want to build a deck that kills my opponents with cards like Guttersnipe and others with similar effects.

How do I reach that goal/want?

Easiest answer ever. Play cards like Guttersnipe and others with similar effects. Go spellslinging.

What do I need to do that?

  1. Creatures that burn on spellcast
  2. Spells to sling

It's important to have a mix of burn creatures that hit all opponents and burn creatures that hit only one, so I can play a bit more political or just hit the biggest threat the hardest, and still eventually burn out everyone with the blanket burn effects.

I also really like the idea of having some "and now I cast X spells at once" kinda effects, but I want to make sure it doesn't end up with a "win out of nowhere" kinda situation.

Reasons for removal:

  • The deck sometimes just doesn't find enough lands, and as such could do with a few less cantrips.
  • The deck had the options of either cantriping, or drawing a ton of cards, no in between. Removing Stroke of Genius to try and find more balance.
  • Reasons for adding:

  • Added two cards for more balanced out draw.
  • Added two lands to try and get back to drawing the right amount of lands.
  • Found that Mizzix's Mastery should work now in the deck, even if it only hits 3-4 spells.
