Kestia, Spymaster of Tempe

Commander / EDH GWU (Bant)

Maybeboard

This deck's strategy is similar to that of Edric, Spymaster of Trest who is in the 99 along with Bident of Thassa. We'll rely on evasion-providing auras and various enchantment creatures to build a drawing engine. Kestia, the Cultivator is at the center of the deck's card drawing synergies which are supported by 8 enchantresses. The deck supports going wide and tall if our board isn't kept in check. Bruna, Light of Alabaster, Creeping Renaissance, Estrid, the Masked, and auras giving indestructibility or hexproof help to recover a lost board presence or protect an existing one. The primary finishers are an unblockable Hydra Omnivore, a beater with Corrupted Conscience, Righteous Authority with a full grip, Nylea's Colossus, and the ever-present threat of commander damage. The 99 includes a small ramp package which allows us continually cast the many cards we'll be drawing. Sigil of the Empty Throne and Ajani's Chosen support a go-wide plan and give each of our redundant auras a new target as we draw into them.
