Sometime in April, I traded some StarCityGames tokens for a Kaalia of the Vast proxy. I put in 33 plains, 33 mountains, and 33 swamps. That was my first EDH deck.

It's been over 2 years since then, and what I have now is a labor of love. The deck is finely tuned for competitive multiplayer commander games. An aggro deck to the untrained eye, but upon further inspection a combo deck, though admittedly the only combo is use Kaalia on opponent to bring in gamewinning creature. This deck is a joy to play and a nightmare to play against. Consistently dropping Kaalia on turn 3 followed by an Armageddon or Cataclysm to seal the win. If they told me I could only keep one deck from my collection, this is the deck I'd keep.

Dragon Tyrant and Rakdos were both one shots. Steel Hellkite and Utvara Hellkite are in it for the long term. Aegis for Deathless, Thunder Dragon was underperforming so I brought in Tariel.

Grand Abolisher is too good not to run.

Erebos seems way better than Greed.
