Hello and welcome to the first tipsycommander deck tech, I'm here to help guide you to a deck that can stand on its own when you cant. today we will be taking a look at Inalla, Archmage Ritualist so here is my list but lets look a litle further into it break down wincons and even budget replacements for certain cards, and even lines of play to help get you rollin.

Plan A: Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame and some creature in play is all thats needed to get this conscripts/kiki combo wannabe going, cast twinflame targeting a creature in play, respond to that with casting dualcaster mage with his etb copy twinflame targeting dualcaster mage, let the twinflame copy resolve and get another dualcaster mage etb which will target twinflame. so on and so forth.

Plan B: Wizard beats, it may seem like its impossible but its very doable, landing Galecaster Colossus after an overloaded cyclonic rift is an excellent way to make sure your opponents will never keep anything worth while on the battlefield. also on this same vein its not impossible for a single master of waves cast to create 50+ tokens.

Plan C: Dire Fleet Ravager and Inalla, Archmage Ritualist , plummet everyones health to near nothingness then tap 5 untapped wizards target player loses 7 life, this is for sure a last resort despite it being stapled to our commander, using the tap abilities for cards like Azami, Lady of Scrolls , Galecaster Colossus , and Patron Wizard have always felt more rewarding to me which is why i consider this Plan C.

Some of these cards are expensive, I've picked out some that i felt were the most expensive that maybe not everyone that plays has, there will still be some in there that are on the expensive side but are real strong cards that just about everyone should get there hands on Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor i think being the two most notable. So with out further ado the budget replacements.

Snapcaster Mage : not a terrible lot of instant and sorceries in the deck but the ones that are in are solid and begging to be reused, this is an easy swap to Mission Briefing

Spellseeker : I know not that expensive at only around $15, but i can see where some may wanna cut this card in favor for something that does more than tutors Cyclonic Rift , and that's fair. i would recommend a swap to Information Dealer

Vendilion Clique : While I'm not a huge fan of cutting this one, it is on the pricier side, and if your looking to upgrade from these budget options it is a strong contender for a first upgrade. I would swap to Architects of Will this serves a similar roll in what clique does by messing with our opponents and how they plan on playing also in a pinch it cycles for only .

Force of Will : This is a pretty easy swap too, if your wanna to stay on theme Wizard's Retort , otherwise really any two mana counterspell works just as fine such as Counterspell .

Time Spiral : Two easy swaps come to mind, the first and most budget option would be Time Reversal after that probably Echo of Eons from modern horizons though this one is also around $20.

Toxic Deluge : A few options here, the cheapest being Languish , after that Black Sun's Zenith , and finally if you swap all the basics to snow basics you could run Dead of Winter .

Yawgmoth's Will : Any one that has played this card will tell you this is one of the best cards that has ever been printed. That being said this deck lives off being able to get things back after being board wiped so it hurts to lose this one, now if you want you could run Magus of the Will however its very lackluster compared to its big brother. My recommendation would be for Marchesa, the Black Rose , the ability to reuse our etbs is very good.

Mana Crypt , Mana Vault : these are nice but not necessary, swap for another 2 mana rock, Talisman of Creativity just came in modern horizons. Mind Stone and Coalition Relic would also be good considerations. Taking these out of the deck i would recommend swapping Trinket Mage to Tribute Mage

Underground Sea : Island , i know real tough to find a budget replacement

Cavern of Souls : maybe not the most relevant land depending upon your meta, would recommend Morphic Pool .

The fetchlands: four fetch lands to swap out, Temple of Malice Underground River Island Swamp .

swapping just those 15 cards will drop the pice of the deck by more than $1400.

Vedalken AEthermage : For as long as I've played this deck i have never actually cast this card. So why is it here? wizardcycling!!! thats right pay go find any wizard in the deck and put it in your hand, and our deck is full of silver bullet wizards artifact or enchantment problem? Stern Proctor Creature problem? Exclusion Mage , your options are near limitless.

Naban, Dean of Iteration : Panharmonicon is a great commander card, Naban, Dean of Iteration does the exact same effect for every creature in our deck. This only gets better when for every creature we cast we can pay and get another copy of that creature entering the battlefield for Naban, Dean of Iteration to let trigger a second time. what does this mean? cast Exclusion Mage it enters, Naban, Dean of Iteration makes it trigger twice to bounce 2 creatures, but also Inalla, Archmage Ritualist triggers allowing us to pay to get another copy of Exclusion Mage entering the battlefield triggering twice again becasue of Naban, Dean of Iteration . so in the end we payed to bounce four creatures. Omenspeaker enters and we essentially can pay and scry 8! the card is nuts in this deck. And is easily my number one tutor target.

Beguiler of Wills : So i was really skeptic when i initially added this card, but since then i have been able to steal so many relevant cards with this thing its absurd. Do keep in mind that if u actually pay the extra from the Inalla, Archmage Ritualist trigger we do get one that comes in with haste, and in a deck with 30+ creatures in it, its very easy to be able to steal a creature with even 8 power, and Beguiler of Wills does not give the card back!

Kindred Dominance : One sided board wipes are almost always back breaking ( Cyclonic Rift ) other than that I really dont think this card requires much more thought into it, worst comes to worse just name sponge and blow up all the creatures.

Anathemancer : depending on your meta this card could pump out some serious damage, especially paired with Naban who we talked about above, ive seen 5 color decks go from 30 life to dead with a single cast.

Master of Waves : the deck is mostly blue, we run a lot of creatures some of which even have in the casting cost, casting this even with out getting an extra one from Inalla, Archmage Ritualist or the extra etb from Naban, its not uncommon to see 10-15 elementals come with it. it being pro-red also isnt totally irrelevant.

Patron Wizard : absolutely brutal if it comes down early enough to stop people from casting ramp spells and can easily pull you ahead on tempo alone. Even coming down late people are going to think twice about tapping out to cast a spell with out leaving at least a solid three mana open.
