First attempt at a commander deck, utilizing some "synergy" and staple information from EDHREC. I am mostly looking for information from experienced commander players who have played with or against decks using some/all of these cards. I have purposefully exluded $$$ staples to keep my foray into EDH a little more affordable...for now.

My initial idea was to keep the creature base strictly "only dragons," though I'm wondering if that is such a good idea for purposes of keeping a consistent curve. I've included some artifacts to cheat in larger creatures (Belbe's Portal, Dragon Arch, Quicksilver Amulet) as well as things like Sunbird's Invocation. I'm also wondering how well adding the new Ikoria triomes will help with mana performance.

As of now, my only purpose in commander is playing socially with friends who are mildly-to-moderately competitive.
