Why Should Kros Do The Killing?

The deck is focusing +1/+1 counters being placed and getting goad triggerd on just about anything that moves. The idea is to plop at least one on every creature out there and create a big mess with the commander and proliferate, and theoretically that mess wouldn't be pointed at me...right?

Early ramp with a lack of fetch because of the lack of basic lands in the deck; get a couple of creatures that don't have ETBs; if you've got a lot of proliferation then maybe start some +1/+1 game. Throughout all of this I'm thinking the commander might be late to the party unless there's some way the protect him.

After the commander hits +1/+1 counters out there until everyone has got one so when the proliferate kicks it'll start to get real fun

Tricks and kicks hopefully get you to the end with combat damage.

There's some fun kicks in there so hopefully I've accumulated enough counters on my creatures to be able to fight back in an end game scenario. I tossed in a couple board wipes for an end game just in case, so maybe the control needs a little tweaking...
