German Highlander is a 1v1 format akin to both legacy and EDH. It has its own banlist similar that of legacy's, yet also allows some powerful vintage-only cards such as Demonic Tutor and Tolarian Academy . Each deck must have a minimum of 100 cards with only one of each, except for basic lands. It plays with the regular Magic rules, except you have one free mulligan. The format's website is Highlandermagic.info.

4C Blood is an archetype based around some of the most efficient creatures the game has to offer as well as the unmatched removal in the colors. The deck runs all colors but blue, hence the "4C" part. 4C might as well hint towards the curve of the deck, which typically tops out at an even 4 CMC apart from the sometimes-played Thundermaw Hellkite , Obzedat, Ghost Council and technically Tasigur, the Golden Fang , who - let's face it - is just another Tarmogoyf .
As for "Blood"... I actually have no idea. I like to think it's a nod to Bloodbraid Elf , the poster child of creature value.
