Even though this is the first event I'm commenting on, let's start with this:

Omnath has not lost a single game until this point.

Now that that's out of the way let's skip to the end and figure out how I lost. I had taken out Noyan when he tried to kill my elementals and dealt him 21 lethal damage to the face. Tasigur tried to win via Laboratory Maniac but with his draw trigger on the stack Noyan turned his Maniac into an Ape.

So it was down to me and Keranos. He had been pummeling me with Avaricious Dragon and Kamahl, Pit Fighter. I was down to 6 life and he had Kamahl untapped. I draw and get Horn of Greed. No problem. I have plenty of lands. So I play the Horn and play a land and draw.... Tooth and Nail. This is excellent! I can win now! My opponent's shoulders slumped. I heard a very audible "oh nooo..." and reveled in my good fortune. Double tutor and drop them both into play should be more than enough. Unfortunately, my Tornado Elemental had been exiled earlier in the game and it was my only way to stop the dragon! I could tutor no lifegain, no reach creatures, nothing that was in my deck would make a difference this time. It was my turn to let my shoulders slump. So I settled for Avenger of Zendikar and Scavenging Ooze and praying that he didn't realize I didn't have enough green left to keep myself alive.

He noticed.
