This deck has 1 purpose. Create as many huge creatures as possible and swing in to kill everyone. Its the classic Selesnya way but with a ridiculous amount of life gain on top of the unstoppable stampede.

Interesting Interactions:

Damage = Life Gain

Darien, King of Kjeldor + Trostani, Selesnya's Voice . So long as you don't take lethal damage all at once, you create that many soldier tokens and gain that much life back. The same effect can be applied once every turn with pain lands like Tarnished Citadel, Ancient Tomb, or even Windswept Heath/City of Brass

Indestructible Horse Stampede

Crested Sunmare + Helm of the Host + Trostani, Selesnya's Voice . Once the first copy comes into play, all the horses are indestructible and you gain 5 life. This triggers both horses at the beginning of the next end step to create two more 5/5 horse tokens, gaining you 10 life and it only gets more ridiculous each turn.

Pay Life To Gain Life

Phyrexian Processor + Trostani, Selesnya's Voice . Lets say you have 50 life. You pay 49 of it to create a 49/49 black minion creature token and you gain 49 life. Now for every token of this creature, it nets you 49 life.

The Math Breaks My Brain

Avenger of Zendikar + Cathars' Crusade + Doubling Season . Let say we have 7 lands and we cast Avenger of Zendikar with Cathars' Crusade and Doubling Season on the battlefield already. Avenger creates 7 different 0/1 Plant tokens which gets doubled to 14 by Doubling Season. This triggers Cathar's Crusade 14 individual times and puts 28 +1/+1 counters on every single creature on our side of the battlefield...

Draw Step Refill

Alhammarret's Archive + Sylvan Library . At the beginning of your draw step, you draw your first card, then two for Sylvan Library and then two more for Alhammarret's Archive. Now you have 5 cards to choose from if you wanna pay life to keep it or put two on top free of charge.

This deck is hands down my most consistent deck of the four I regularly play. That being this deck, a Derevi Pillow Fort deck, Hapatra Snake Swarm deck and a Scarab God Zombie Tribal deck. It ramps extremely consistently. It gains life faster than any opponent can deal damage, even if you're being focused by two or more players. And its ability to recover from field wipes with populate and token generation is unmatched. If you're looking for a Trostani deck, look no further than this monster. Its about as competitive as CEDH gets.
