I finally could upload some of my favorite decks I've build. So, here's a little wrap up:

This is - if I might say - a quite nice deck. The goal is basically playing Tymna on Turn 2 (ideally) and go punch face to draw cards. The deck has a quite low mana curve, due the taxation plan and is able to overrun people. My new favorite in this deck is Serra Ascendant . Such a powerhouse. Putting this bad boi onto the field turn 1 feels so good. So, you basically punch everyone in the face with creatures and as you might guessed, this deck is creature heavy. A lot of the removal and stax pieces are on the creatures themselves. This can be a disadvantage, since a lot of decks run creature massremoval. But that's not a problem since this deck has more creatures to come and is little bit graveyard dependent.

So, this is a lot of fun to play with. We have a little bit of a reanimation theme in here, but I didn't focus that much on it. Of course, what would be 4-color-Blood-Pod without the birthing pod combo. We'll almost everyone knows the line, but here you go:

You if you play birhting pod and to go off in the same turn, you basically need the following conditions:

  • at least 6 mana
  • at least 9 life
  • a creature with converted mana cost of 3 on the battlefield under your control
  • Birthing Pod in your hand
  • the following combo pieces should be in the deck, if not, you still should be able to combo off
  • Felidar Guardian + Karmic Guide + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
  • ideally protection ( Grand Abolisher )
  • check for graveyard hate
  • check for abilities that cause permanents to enter the battlefield tapped or to cause enter the battlefield abilites
  • remove the named threats to safely combo off, since the combo is only sorcery speed

  • Cast Birthing Pod

  • Sacrifice the CMC 3 creature to the Birthing Pod and get Felidar Guardian from your library
  • Use Felidar Guardians enter the battlefield ability to exile and return the Birthing Pod to the battlefield untapping it
  • Sacrifice Felidar Guardian to get Karmic Guide from your library and return Felidar Guardian from you graveyard to the battlefield, repeating #3
  • Sacrifice Felidar Guardian to get Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
  • Tap Kiki-Jiki to create a token copy of Karmic Guide , return Felidar Guardian from your graveyard to the battlefield
  • Use Felidar Guardians enter the battlefield trigger to exile and return Kiki-Jiki
  • Tap Kiki-Jiki to create a token copy of Felidar Guardian, which then exiles and returns Kiki-Jiki to the battlefield. You can repeat this process any number of times, until you are satisfied with the amount of Felidar creature tokens with HASTE. Then you basically overrun all of your opponents with these tokens :D

But be careful, since the combo is only sorcery speed, it is easier for opponents to interact or more precise, more difficult for you to respond. It's ideal to have a Grand Abolisher on your side of the field, so that no one can interact with you. If you don't have it, your stuff can be countered, destroyed and so on. The combo of course does not work, if your graveyard if unavailable for example due to Rest in Peace and if enter the battlefield trigger don't happen and/ or your creatures and artifacts enter the battlefield tapped.

I have to say, that the combo is not the main goal of the deck. Since it's still commander/ EDH you still want to have fun. And I very much like this deck, because it's first of all so creature heavy, does not nead a lot ot mana and is quite mana efficient. Of course, there ways to build the deck more advanced and push it towards cEDH. But as I mentioned, it's still commander.

Also there is an additional combo I have noticed only later. You can win the game by having a Blood Artist on the battlefield under your control, Felidar Guardian in your graveyard and Animate Dead in your hand. You probably see where this is going... You reanimate Felidar Guadian, exile and return Animate Dead targeting felidar Guardian. Since you have a Blood Artist, everyone is going to lose to the lifeloss, since Felidar Guardian is being sacrificed and therefore dies.

You also have the plan of cutting your opponents short on mana and still maintaining a stable board. This can be achieved thourgh, Smothering Tithe , Armageddon (yes, I know, I'm a monster), Strip Mine , Reclamation Sage , Manglehorn , Acidic Slime , Winter Orb , Aura of Silence and much much more. Most of the named cards are precious removal, but in some cases can be used for cutting your opponents off mana.

We also punish opponents for doing stuff, by including Ruric Thar, the Unbowed , Kambal, Consul of Allocation and tax them for not playing to much with Eidolon of Rhetoric .

So, you might wonder "Why in the world is he playing Magus of the Moon in a 4-color deck?". Yeah, I know, quite strange, isn't it? But I want to disrupt lands. I have a few possibilities to create any color of mana, except from my lands. Because I am playing this card, I run a bit more basics that usuall in my 4-color decks. Then I have the following options: Chromatic Lantern , Joiner Adapt, Cryptolith Rite , Grand Warlord Radha , Smothering Tithe and all of my mana dorks.

Hope you like the deck :D
