THE DECK

This is an adaptive combo deck with five wincons. Below are descriptions of all of them.

WINCON #1

This wincon has the ability to be the cheapest wincon in the deck as it only costs 2(U)(B) to win. Cast Laboratory Maniac followed up by casting Demonic Consultation, naming a card not in the deck, and Gitaxian Probe. Other versions of this wincon can be pulled off for more mana using other draw spells.

WINCON #2

This wincon is similar to the one above, except you cast Tainted Pact instead of Demonic Consultation and draw the last card in your deck. Follow up with a draw spell.

WINCON #3

This wincon uses Doomsday and, after resolution, costs 1(U)(B) plus a draw spell (not Gitaxian Probe) to go off the turn you cast Doomsday. The pile is below:

Cast Predict naming Laboratory Maniac. The Laboratory Maniac gets milled and you draw Unearth and Gitaxian Probe. Cast Gitaxian Probe to draw Street Wraith. Cast Unearth targeting Laboratory Maniac. Cycle Street Wraith for the win.

WINCON #4

This wincon also uses Doomsday but has more setup to go off and does not require blue in the pile. It requires Thrasios, Triton Hero to be on the battlefield before Doomsday is cast. Then, after resolution, it costs 1(B)(R) plus a draw spell (not Faithless Looting) to go off the turn you cast Doomsday. The pile is below:

• Faithless Looting
• Wordgorger Dragon
• Animate Dead -OR- Dance of the Dead
• Shivan Gorge
• Any card (can be Laboratory Maniac if you already have Alchemist's Refuge in play.)

Cast Faithless Looting discarding Worldgorger Dragon and another card (not any of the reanimation spells from the pile). Cast the reanimation spell (either Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead) targeting Worldgorger Dragon. This creates an infinite loop where you can only perform instant speed actions in between triggers. Create infinite mana by floating mana between triggers and then activate Thrasion, Triton Hero to put Shivan Gorge from the pile into play tapped. It will come back into play untapped with the infinite loop. Between triggers, activate Shivan Gorge's ability for the win.

If Alchemist's Refuge is on the battlefield, you can also activate Thrasios, Triton Hero a second time to draw Laboratory Maniac. Then activate Alchemist's Refuge's ability to allow you to cast spells at instant speed. Cast Laboratory Maniac and then activate Thrasios, Triton Hero between triggers for the win.

WINCON #5

This wincon is achieved by naturally achieving the above mentioned combo with Thrasios, Triton Hero on the battlefield. It will allow you to draw your deck and have all your lands enter the battlefield by creating infinite mana and activating Thrasios, Triton Hero in between triggers. This will ensure that both Shivan Gorge and Alchemist's Refuge will be on the battlefield so you can win either with Shivan Gorge or Laboratory Maniac.

WINCON #6

There is a Doomsday pile without blue that can be achieved without Thrasios, Triton Hero, however, you would need 2(B)(B)(R) plus a draw spell and you would have to have not made your land drop yet for the turn to go off the turn you cast Doomsday. Below is the pile:

• Faithless Looting
• Worldgorger Dragon
• Night's Whisper
• Animate Dead -OR- Dance of the Dead
• Shivan Gorge

Cast Faithless Looting discarding Worldgorger Dragon and another card (not Night's Whisper). Cast Night's Whisper to draw either reanimation spell (Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead) and Shivan Gorge. Play Shivan Gorge and cast either reanimation spell targeting Worldgorger Dragon. Continue the loop and go for the win the same way as described above by making infinite mana and activating Shivan Gorge between triggers.
