Hope of Colorless EDH Viability

Commander / EDH

Hope of Ghirapur EDH.

THIS DECKS IS NOT FULLY COMPLETE YET

This deck started as a pet of mine and has grown into and actual viable deck that I can enjoy playing in a casual or cut-throat setting.

The main reason for Hope of Ghirapur as the commander is as follows: protects from potential counterspells from the control player, secures you a game almost always in a 3 player pod, more flexiable and versitile than Karn, Silver Golem or an eldrazi titan, one drop, and the biggest reason for this thopter as the commander is the player reaction from the players at the table. They don't see the rest of the deck coming and often leave you alone before it's too late and you have the chance to go off.

I'm hoping to write a primer for this deck shortly.

Main Combos:

Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith + Walking Ballista Ballista will enter with as many counters as you choose to which you can remove them and ping your opponent to death.

Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith + Staff of Domination Staff of Domination allows you to draw your deck with the untap function. With your library drawn you are able to do the Walking Ballista combo or if you're feeling cute and cheeky, Karn, Silver Golem + Voltaic Construct to make your Keening Stone a creature. This allows you to mill everyone out.
