Disclaimer: Definitely a work in progress. See below for explanations on some card choices:

So there are several things going on with this deck, but at its core this deck is the essence of red: chaotic and lots of fun. Here are the various pieces of our game plan:

I made this deck because of Etali of course, but also because I wanted to try these cards. They all work really well with eachother and provide a great value engine:

Possibility Storm - 1) Screw over our opponents (especially combo/control players) 2) Doesn't affect Etali's triggers at all, 3) double casting triggers for Paradox Engine, 4) We don't care since our deck is full of bombs anyways, and 5) You still get the cast trigger off of the original spell!

Sunbird's Invocation - just read it. Unfortunately does not hit of Etali, but we'll be casting plenty of spells from our hand too, worry not.

Paradox Engine - Ramp! Also goes semi-infinite with Strionic Resonator

We also have other cards with great cast triggers: Artisan of Kozilek, Emrakul, the Promised End, Oblivion Sower,Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

Rocks: Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Fire Diamond, Fellwar Stone, Thran Dynamo, Gilded Lotus, Mind Stone. Obviously good with Paradox Engine

Getting lands also has the secondary effect of thinning our deck to more consistently hit Etali triggers: Myriad Landscape, Solemn Simulacrum - works great with our artifact/copy themes. Sword of the Animist - ramps, shuffles our library, thins our deck, and synergizes with attacking? Perfect!

Others:

Looting: Faithless Looting, Geier Reach Sanitarium, Cathartic Reunion, Tormenting Voice, Daretti, Scrap Savant. Key to the City pulls double duty by pseudo-looting and providing unblockable goodness.

Wheels: Memory Jar, Reforge the Soul, Wheel of Fate. The last work particularly well with Sunbird's Invocation

Recursion: Artisan of Kozilek & Goblin Welder - both cuttable but synergize decently with the casting trigger / artifacts we have.

Other:

Pretty much the best red can do unless I want to enter the realm of land destruction. I've got the classics as well as having some of the big baddies pulling double duty.

Spot Removal: Ghost Quarter, Chaos Warp, Vandalblast, Duplicant, Inferno Titan, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

Wrath: Blasphemous Act, All Is Dust, Balefire Dragon

The main concern with Etali is that he needs to attack for his trigger to resolve. Of course we'd prefer that he'd survive the swing, so here are some solutions:

Maze of Ith and the flip side of Thaumatic Compass take him out of combat so no harm is done.

Unblockable: Rogue's Passage, Bedlam, Key to the City, Whispersilk Cloak

Darksteel Plate means you don't have to worry swinging with Etali.

Since we're very combat focused, many of our creatures benefit from attacking or dealing combat damage, whether by ramping, dealing damage, annihilating, taking extra combat steps etc.

Extra combat steps; more damage + more etali triggers = profit (also these can go infinite for any number of reasons)
