Maybeboard

This is a fairly generic artifact deck with a more defensive focus. There are a handful of combos, with a decent selection of tutors to pull it all together but its not designed to do so at blistering speed. There are a couple of spicy additions that will add a lot to games.

The combos:

The Classic: Urza, Lord High Artificer + Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek for infinite lifegain and thopters.

The Other Classic: Painter's Servant + Grindstone to send someone's deck to the shadow realm.

The Constructs Are At It Again: Krark-Clan Ironworks + Scrap Trawler + Myr Retriever + 1 & 0 mana artifacts (preferably mana rocks) for infinite cast triggers and ETBs along with infinite mana. Combine with Grinding Station or Altar of the Brood for the ability to mill as well. This is a lot easier with Semblance Anvil (then again most things are).

Whoops! I Dropped My Graveyard Onto The Battlefield: Sharuum the Hegemon + Mirrorworks + Krark-Clan Ironworks which can give you all artifacts from your graveyard onto the battlefield:

Other win conditions are:

  • mirrodin Beseiged: with over 50% of the deck being artifacts, you have a fair chance of triggering the win condition.

  • Mechanized Production : A little slow, obvious and vulnerable in most cases but if you can throw it on top of a thopter token off a Thopter Foundry you can make it there in no time.

There are a few charge counter elements in the deck, being Grindclock , Lux Cannon and Coretapper . Whether or not these remain in the deck is another question, but there are a few proliferate engines in the deck being Karn's Bastion , Contagion Clasp and Contagion Engine which with Unwinding Clock and a few artifact mana rocks can churn out quite a few counters every turn.

Wishclaw Talisman is a ridiculously powerful poltical card for minimal loss (you give it to your opponent tapped and they can't activate it until their turn) unless you are absolutely dominating the board and drawing the ire of every other player. There are a couple of sacrifice outlets to use in response to the ability if you really don't want to give it away with Krark-Clan Ironworks , Grinding Station or you can return it to hand with Master Transmuter .

The deck is horribly vulnerable to artifact hate, but that's the price you have to pay sometimes.
