boros is the weakest color, it doesnt do this, that, yadda yadda whatever. this is not the case with the fantastic, combastic, super firefox.

zirda is a cost-reducing commander that most notably makes instant, infinite, colorless mana with Grim Monolith and Basalt Monolith.

similar to our monowhite friend Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista , we can combo off quickly and consistently, and if that doesnt work we can always beat face with equipments thanks to the Sunforger voltron package. realistically you can hit turn 3 combos with any of the monoliths in the starting hand. the deck is built so that we can always have a mana sink to make use of all that mana, like Citanul Flute which grabs Walking Ballista, Valakut Invoker, Cogwork Assembler.

theres an Aggravated Assault + Sword of Feast and Famine infinite-combat chain thats relatively easy to put together, and works as a secondary win con (zirda even reduces assault's cost to a manageable 1RR).

sometimes even a humble Palladium Myr + Umbral Mantle will be enough to swing for infinite with both the myr and zirda, all while disabling everyone from blocking thanks to zirda's less glamorous ability. bet you thought it was useless!

some general purpose hate and some instants to abuse sunforger to top it off and you're ready to be the boros archenemy you've always dreamed of!!

2021 update: jewled lotus, jeskas will... the newest bombs make for amazing improvements, and mr. Oswald Fiddlebender enables us so hard it makes me wonder if i should rebuild the entire deck around him
