This is my current build of Zur, the Enchanter. I have recently come off of the Doomsday plan, which has freed up quite a few slots in my deck for other packages. I've decided that the most slot-efficient use of slots is to double up on my primary win condition of Demonic Consultation and Thassa's Oracle by adding in Tainted Pact and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.

The rest of the open slots have been dedicated to far more interaction. This deck really takes some inspiration from the more recent Midrange Ad Nauseam decks and is far more grindy. I wanted other sources of card advantage in case the game went very long (Where Necropotence just isn't as good). With that in mind, I've added some value creatures (more in line with the 4C Rashmi Control decks) to keep a steady flow of cards going.

In the end, what you end up with is a deck that still has the ability to threaten a decently quick combo that is resilient to hate and still keeps up with other decks in resources.

My Doomsday list had delve cards and Yawgmoth's Will, but I started to find myself rushing graveyard hate out more and more every game. I've also found library search hate to be especially helpful. It's very common with this list to run our an early Rest in Peace.

I don't have cards like Rhystic Study in here because card draw enchantments typically get overshadowed by a tutored Necropotence. Mystic Remora comes down early enough to warrant a spot.
