Maybeboard

Big mana deck focused on going as tall and wide as possible before our opponents have time to properly build up their defences. Getting out Selvala, Explorer Returned early is key to going off quickly, aiming to throw out efficient token generators and value engines such as Elder Gargaroth, Vivien, Monsters' Advocate and Tendershoot Dryad in turns 3-4 to pressure opponents.

Once a strong board state has been established, we run several massive draw spells such as Shamanic Revelation to draw into a win with the usual heavy beating finishers such as the oof hoof himself Craterhoof Behemoth. Dragonlord Dromoka is always handy to slam if we need some protection for our big end game spells.

Although the deck is often quick out the gate, we combat the glass cannon nature of token decks with excellent resilience in the late game, at the expense of many popular win more cards like Doubling Season. Shalai, Voice of Plenty and Avacyn, Angel of Hope provide solid protection and are a great pair to tutor for with Shared Summons to lock down our board. We play many cards that squeeze out extra value in the late game such as Angel of Sanctions and Increasing Devotion, as well as some recursion in the form of Emeria Shepherd and Eternal Witness. Together with the chimera king himself Apex Devastator which let us quickly get ahead on rebuilding after an untimely board wipe, this deck aims to ensure you'll spend every turn developing your game plan and pushing for a win.

Consult the maybeboard if you want more spicy options and consider making adjustments for your meta.
