Strategy

This is a pseudo-tribal deck that uses Myrs and Thopters as the base creatures to bring out greater threats or win conditions. If you're attacking with them, you're playing it wrong. Essentially the Myrs and the Thopters are meant to be greater than the sum of their parts, either by standing up to be counted by the likes of cards like Hellkite Tyrant, as cheap sacrifices for cards like Kuldotha Forgemaster, or simply to serve game mechanics like Affinity, Improvise, and Convoke. It's mainly through the efforts of those little guys that the big boys can come out to play sooner than usual.

Combos: Show

Mycosynth Lattice + Vandalblast: Once Mycosynth Lattice is on the field, cast Vandalblast for its overload cost to clear the board for everyone except yourself.

Mycosynth Lattice + Consulate Crackdown: Make everything an artifact and then clear the board for everyone except yourself.

Enduring Renewal + Ashnod's Altar + Memnite/Ornithopter/Myr Moonvessel/Cathodion: Create infinite colorless mana by sacrificing any of the listed creatures to Ashnod's Altar and then recasting them thanks to Enduring Renewal.

Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve: As long as you have no other Thopters aside from Thopter Assembly, you can give yourself infinite turns by continually sacrificing the Thopter tokens created by Thopter Assembly to Time Sieve. Then just build up to one of the win-cons in the deck.

Win Conditions: Show

Akiri, Line-Slinger: Akiri's attack can get big fast. Constantly be on the attack since you'll almost always force the opponent to block so they don't take commander damage. Since she has first strike and vigilance, her attacks are pretty low-risk to you. She's also super cheap to cast, so you can attack early and often.

Blightsteel Colossus: Unless it's two-headed giant, 10 poison counters are still all that are needed to kill in EDH. As such the win-con for Blightsteel Colossus is obvious. Combine with Whispersilk Cloak or Cranial Plating to maximize the threat.

Hellkite Tyrant: Pretty self explanatory. Combos well with several cards, most notably Mycosynth Lattice and Whispersilk Cloak. If you've got 25+ artifacts, combo it with Time Sieve to win without waiting for your opponent(s) to take their turn.

Grinding Station + Enduring Renewal + Memnite/Ornithopter/Myr Moonvessel/Cathodion: An infinite decking combo. Sacrifice any of the listed creatures to Grinding Station, recast them thanks to Enduring Renewal, and repeat until your opponent(s) have no more cards left. Add Reckless Fireweaver or Disciple of the Vault if you don't feel like waiting to end your turn to win.

Mechanized Production + Myr Tokens/Thopter Tokens: Build up the Myr or Thopter tokens and then play Mechanized Production on one of the tokens. Then simply survive with eight of the tokens on your next turn to win. Alternatively, if you have 5 extra artifacts, combo it with Time Sieve to win without waiting for your opponent(s) to take their turn.
