I've put off the description for this deck for long enough, so I think it's time for an overhaul.

Why Geth, Lord of the Vault for a mill commander?

Geth, Lord of the Vault is a great card for taking artifacts and creatures that are potentially used to lock down the game, and adding mill to that is a small bonus in EDH. Also, such an abilty doesn't cause Geth himself to tap, so you can search multiple people a turn for the possible dream of 5 Sol Rings out on your battlefield. Geth, Lord of the Vault is also a good mana sink of each turn. Though a mill deck would be better in , but the gimmick of a zombie deck is always better than a more sound mill deck, right? At least it is in my opinion, since winning isn't everything -sometimes.

How the deck works

A deck like this works by overwhelming the board with powerful cards such as Endless Ranks of the Dead and Ghoulcaller Gisa; or by milling your opponent to death -that is if they don't have Laboratory Maniac. Such tactics will be stopped, one way or another, so Geth, Lord of the Vault allows you to build up your army while your main activater cards are in your graveyard. There is no real win-con. besides milling or flooding the board, and I don't really want a one turn win sort of deck with this, this is just a chill sort of deck that does it's thing while you count and do math with thousands of tokens. You know, normal stuff.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• Strengths: This deck excels when it's left alone at the table, and decently well in a 1v1 environment, since it is a mill deck -usually a slower type of deck- and doesn't have a full blown win-condition, there is a means of fluff thrown around in it, and it's good fluff, to keep with the theme and gimmick.

• Weaknesses: As stated above, this is a slower deck ,and your opponents can take advantage of that. Combo decks like Arcum Dagsson, Zur the Enchanter, and nonbasic Hermit Druid decks usually end this deck in a few turns. Also, this deck has very little protection from counter spells or board wipes, leading to a total stomp if you get countered constantly and board wiped every other turn. That being said, this deck is fun in a casual format, unless someone plays Iona, Shield of Emeria that is, so just have fun with it.

Many zombie tokens+Stronghold Assassin/The Abyss/Noxious Ghoul Infinite kill spells

Black Market+Ashnod's Altar+Sacrificing zombie tokens Large amounts of mana

Grave Betrayal+The Abyss/Toxic Deluge/Damnation/Stronghold Assassin/Noxious Ghoul Take all their stuff

Mindcrank+A lot of zombie tokens Mill out your opponent with a million life

Relentless Dead+Gray Merchant of Asphodel Keep on raking in that damage and health

The All stars

Relentless Dead Such a good means of recursion for itself and other zombies that are in the yard; usually this thing baits out a Path to Exile just for how annoying it can be.

Korlash, Heir to Blackblade A heavy beater that can regenerate itself, and be buffed by other zombie lords is just crazy.

Undercity Informer While not a zombie, this is an insane mill card when played against deck that pull out most of their lands. Combine it with multiple amounts of zombie tokens, and you pretty much have a better Mind Funeral.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed The best lord for this deck, giving every non-human creature on the field undying and +1/+1. Easily the strongest lord within the deck just from the protection of undying alone.

Gravespawn Sovereign A repeating snatch card that works insanely well with Geth, Lord of the Vault and a plentiful supply of zombie tokens.

Noxious Ghoul A Toxic Deluge every upkeep with Endless Ranks of the Dead in play. Simply insane when barely anyone plays zombie decks in commander, what a shame.
