This is exactly the sort of response I was looking for. I like your suggestion about the god formula, and in fact earlier iterations had something like this. I put forth a conscious effort to avoid turning either of these cards into walls of text, so I can really appreciate the brevity of your solution to the attack/block restrictions, and based on your suggestions I'll probably find a way to work that back in.
What you were saying about Rise of the Dark Realms is part of why I came here asking for advice. I felt the ability was fitting, but I couldn't find an elegant solution that didn't result in a comically high CMC.
The second ability that you were comparing to Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet is actually one that I ripped straight off of Dread Slaver, and I felt it was safe to use that as a starting point because slaver gives your opponent the luxury of deciding how to handle it by either blocking with creatures big enough to survive combat, or not blocking at all and sparing their creatures entirely.
Thanks for the kind words regarding the "creatures deal commander damage" ability. I think it's the coolest part of the card, but I'm painfully aware of how good it is, and balancing around it has been challenging. I found it funny you put indestructible on him, as I've been going back and forth about that since I started, and it helps with the problem of shroud. I actually don't want shroud on him, as it makes him immune to Legacy Weapon, which breaks flavor. On the other hand, I don't want Yawg dying to little removal spells that wouldn't make any sense lore-wise.
I actually tried to avoid phyrexian mana, seeing as that's more closely associated with New Phyrexia, but I'm not opposed to giving it a spin in future playtesting, especially because it does increase the design space I have to work with.

Thanks for your suggestions! This is a pretty rough list right now; there's a lot of cards I need to get, many of which you've suggested (Liliana, Death's Majesty, Liliana's Mastery, Shepherd of Rot, Zombie Master). This deck is admittedly a low priority among my EDH lists, (owning nine Commander decks really hurts my wallet) but I'm looking forward to teching it out as it is next on my list to upgrade.
I would absolutely run Lord of the Undead and Relentless Dead if it weren't for the fact that both of those cards are quite expensive for me. Since Standard is about to rotate out Shadows Over Innistrad, I figure I can pick up the latter once it cycles out for a better price.
Dralnu, Lich Lord isn't really good for my playgroup. Aside from the fact that I'm focusing on a creature-based deck as opposed to instant/sorceries, there's about two too many copies of Blasphemous Act floating around that would really punish me.
Breathstealer's Crypt looks cool, always love older janky cards that synergise well. I'm just concerned about revealing every card I draw; I love to play politically and I think that could hurt me.
Dread Slaver used to be in the list, and from playtesting I can say it underperformed. A lot. I could never create a favorable combat situation in which my opponent would actually block/attack into it. Creatures can just be really big in EDH.
Zombie Infestation is a pretty good card, but I like to tutor up Necropotence pretty often and discarding has antisynergy with it.
Other cards I'm looking to add would be Graveborn Muse (I get to draw into whatever I didn't scry away), Risen Executioner (as a more budget Zombie lord), Hero's Downfall (to strictly upgrade Murder), Buried Alive (just a casual 3-for-3 tutor), and Paradox Haze (because duh).

So besides your commander you have only 5 cards that have blue in them. I would go mono black if you are not utilizing that color more with card draw, counter spells, control.
Dread Slaver is good in limited but not edh, it won't stay around long for it to take a bunch of stuff and also people wont mind taking the 3 to keep their dorks. you can replace it with a better beater/ blocker i suggest Scourge of Nel Toth
take out Disentomb and replace it with Reanimate to cut out the middleman, your hand. same goes for Raise Dead i would put in Animate Dead because it puts it on the field and can take from any yard. i would also cut Gravepurge and slot in Zombie Apocalypse yeah it is double the mana but you dont clutter your top deck and get all your guys out instead of slowly over the course of a few turns. remove Macabre Waltz for Dance of the Dead for the same reasons as Disentomb. another mass reanimate spell is Living Death my opinion would to remove Urza's Incubator for it.
to get into more blue take out Sanguimancy and add in Frantic Search for free card draw basically. also remove Underworld Connections for Rhystic Study. Life's Finale can be replaced with Cyclonic Rift. You already have Lord of the Accursed so Graf Harvest can come out for Lim-Dul's Vault to set up what you need. i would take out Liliana's Indignation for Traumatize indulgence is such abad mana sink you should add Dark Salvation as a mana sink and remove From Under the Floorboards. adding Traumatize works well with cards like Undead Alchemist so to slot him in remove Liliana's Reaver in addition to buff this little synergy remove Darkest Hour for Altar of the Brood to make tokens all night.
Haunted Fengraf is slow because you sac lands and you dont even get to choose you target i would replace it with Unholy Grotto. take out Leechridden Swamp for a swamp there are better ways to get to your opponents life with your mana. graveyard decks do not need Reliquary Tower.
i see you arent running the grimgrin-gravecrawler-diregraf captain combo, i would take out Jet Medallion for Phyrexian Altar to be able to kill the table. also for replacements for the captain remove Adaptive Automaton and Prized Amalgam (its slow) for Vengeful Dead and Plague Belcher
i would also try to find more slots for a for like 4 counter spells

Let's say I play Burning Anger on a creature that has Deathtouch, and use the ability to deal damage to another creature - will Deathtouch trigger and destroy that creature?
The rules say: "Deathtouch (Any amount of damage this deals to a creature is enough to destroy it.)" It doesn't say that damage had to be combat damage.
Scenario: Player A plays Dread Slaver, Player A plays Burning Anger on that Dread Slaver, then Player A plays Aspect of Gorgon on the same Dread Slaver, finally Player A taps Dread Slaver to deal damage to Player B's Avatar of Might. -Will the damage destroy Avatar of Might, then return it to the battlefield under Player A's control?
