Do you like to mill? Then you've come to the right deck. Phenax is insanely fun to play and will often times let you win the game right away once he hits the board with cards like Death Eater, or with combos like Maddening Cacophony combined with Bruvac the Grandiloquent or Fraying Insanity.

The acceleration package for this deck is low cost artifacts like the moxes and all the other low cost accelerator artifacts. Basically you're rarely going to feel behind because of not only quick acceleration but also the ability to draw with cards like necropotence or notion thief.

On a last note the deck runs quite a few tutors. Disciple of Desceit for example is incredibly valuable since you can activate it with Phenax' mill ability essentially being able to net you a Necropotence or Eater of the Dead to break parity or winning the game quickly.
