Inferno of the Star Mounts EDH

The gameplan here is to come out swinging with dragons and then close out the game with Inferno of the Star Mounts + Umezawa's Jitte , which allows us to lower Inferno's P/T to then activate it's "When it's power becomes 20 this way..." effect multiple times. Of course, swinging through with dragons may not be possible, so a combination of Scourge of Valkas / Terror of the Peaks / Dragon Tempest / Utvara Hellkite / Lathliss, Dragon Queen makes for an intense damage engine that can quickly close out the game. Speaking of Scourge, the only infinite combo in the deck includes it: Changeling Berserker + Molten Echoes + Scourge of Valkas . It's an 15-step combo (yikes!) that ends in creating a token of the Champion to then trigger Scourge repeatedly, resulting in arbitrarily large amounts of damage to the face, or wherever else I want to send it (thank you, "any target" on Scourge!).

The main issue is: Inferno needs colored mana, lots of it. Red's not so great at generating it, but mana rocks like Nyx Lotus make it easier. Alena, Kessig Trapper plus a few dragons on board, like Lathliss and Utvara Hellkite, does a lot of work, but those are mana intensive on their own. A way to supplement the mana shortcomings is with Treasures. Dockside Extortionist and Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer are obviously the go-to but Treasure Vault and Goldspan Dragon help a lot. Recent looting spells, Unexpected Windfall and Pirate's Pillage contribute more treasures as well. Koth of the Hammer helps generate large amounts of red mana; Sarkhan, Fireblood also makes some mana, but it's restricted to dragon spells (wah). Repeatable land grab with cards like Sword of the Animist and Sword of Hearth and Home fit in well as many of our creatures fly.

Card draw can also be an issue in red. Lots of drawing and discarding. To try to make up for sending a lot of cards to the grave, a lot of our potent pieces are artifacts. Goblin Welder / Goblin Engineer / Daretti, Scrap Savant / Trash for Treasure help us keep our pieces relevant.

Some cards here for shits and giggles are Braid of Fire , because why not? Mana burn ain't a thing anymore, baby! We golden!; Downhill Charge , just seems like an easy include to boost Inferno's power for little cost; and Kazuul's Fury  , gonna board wipe? Gonna path Inferno? Fling to the face!

Cards on the chopping block are: Kazuul's Fury, Braid of Fire, and Gauntlet of Power.
