Teferi's Veil is an old-school piece of Sedris tech that you might like. Attack with unearthed creatures and the veil will phase them out after combat, so they won't be exiled at the end of the turn because they no longer "exist".
You might like these too: Deadeye Navigator (you probably know this already but if two or more effects would exile something at the same time, you choose which occurs. so exiling an unearthed dude with Deadeye or similar effects gets around the unearth downside), Ghostly Flicker, Displace, Wormfang Drake, Changeling Berserker, Faceless Butcher, Worldgorger Dragon, Peregrine Drake, Mulldrifter, Intuition, Final Parting, Thalakos Deceiver, Solemn Simulacrum, Triskelion (combos with mikaeus. also decent with a flicker loop), Netherborn Phalanx (finds either piece of the mike & trike combo. could also unearth later to sneakily kill a token player)

You can replace some of the lack luster dinosaurs like Huatli's Raptor with changelings such as Changeling Berserker which also has a budget blink effect and can get you your ETB triggers more than once or Mirror Entity can make your smaller dinosaurs threats, along with making non dinosaurs you have benefit from the dinosaur buffs, and with just the mana it took to cast your commander every creature will have a base power and toughness of eight, which is higher than most of your creatures. There's also Kindred Charge which is a good finisher but it doesn't get around the legend rule so you wont get multiple triggers from your commander. Helm of the Host does get around the legend rule though. And a card like Life's Legacy can be used as efficient card draw.

@iammute: Changeling Berserker is definitely a card I would include if I was looking to optimize the deck to near-cEDH levels, but I don't think it's what I'm going for here. As backward as it might sound, I don't actually want to go infinite more than I already do. In my playgroup, winning via infinite combo once every other night is fine, but people start getting a little too salty for my tastes if the combos happen more often than that.
@X-Factor11105: Oh don't worry, this deck is one of my forever decks. It's never getting taken apart, and I typically update it every time a new set comes out. I'm still in the middle of updating the description, but I should have an update with my new additions posted soon.
as for your suggestions:
the myr are good, but my meta runs way too much removal for them to be reliable. I don't think Priest of Gix is going to do much for me, as I don't really have any good ways of recurring him that wouldn't be better spent on something like Solemn Simulacrum or a dragon.
Soldevi Adnate is really cool, but suffers from the same weaknesses as the myr (people would kill it), and since most of the creatures in the deck are mono-red I don't think I'd be able to use it all that effectively.
Dread Return is super awesome. I used to run it, but space is incredibly tight here and it ended up getting cut in favor of cheaper/more versatile reanimation.
Thanks for the suggestions both of you! I'm very picky about what makes the cut in this deck, but I'm always looking for new things to try out.

This deck is beauteous. Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor could be a fun include since your general can tutor for Shields of Velis Vel ;) You might consider these too: Bishop of Wings, Rattlechains, Crested Sunmare, Risen Reef, Sigarda, Heron's Grace, Drogskol Captain, Hero of Goma Fada, Harabaz Druid, Wirewood Channeler, Midnight Entourage, Whelming Wave.
Also, the changeling champions (Changeling Berserker, Changeling Hero, Changeling Titan) could be neat since your general can tutor for them and if you loop all three of you get an arbitrary number of ETB triggers in any creature type. You could draw your deck with Azami or Risen Reef, blow up opponents' boards with Reaper King, get infinite life with Bishop of Wings!

- Cast Bladewing with Changeling Berserker in the graveyard or cast Changeling Berserker with Bladewing in play.
- Put the Warstorm Surge/Dragon Tempest on the stack targeting Changeling Berserker.
- Put the Berserker's champion ability on the stack.
- Resolve the champion ability removing Bladewing from the game.
- Resolve the Surge/Tempest ability killing the Berserker and returning Bladewing to play.

Yeah, I'm going to update this deck a little using the 'champion' effect to do infinite combos with shapeshifters. Pretty much get Changeling Berserker , Changeling Hero , Changeling Titan or any clone creature and make a loop of them entering the battlefield and championing eachother. With reaper king this leads to infinite removal

You might like these: Metallic Mimic (cheap scarecrow, makes other scarecrows bigger, AND synergizes with Cauldron!), Universal Automaton , Birthing Boughs , Mikaeus, the Unhallowed , Graveshifter , Dross Scorpion (untaps Cauldron of Souls or mana rocks), Changeling Berserker , Changeling Hero , Changeling Titan (if you get all three champions, you can loop them to destroy all opponents' permanents)
