"...If you give a man a fish..."

Angus Mackenzie's tired of handouts. He's a go-getter and he's on a mission: To catch all the fish in the sea.

Step 1: Call to Action

In order for Angus to go Anglin' he needs a call to action. This can be achieved through playing Sidequest: Catch a Fish   or Fisher's Talent.

Step 2: Gearing Up

Angus won't do nobody no good without his trusty pole. Equip the Fishing Pole to Angus Mackenzie.

Step 3: Catch a Ride

Angus knows what Angus wants and Angus's got the gear to get it, but Angus won't catch any fish while Angus's landlocked. Play one of the many ship vehicles.

Step 4: My Octopus Teacher

No Fisherman's Tale is complete without a wizened mentor (and a willing student) to show Angus the way. Play an un-tapper and an untap aura attached to Angus to teach Angus how to fish.

Step 5: Anglin' Angus

The pieces are complete. First, we crew the ship with Angus Mackenzie. Then, we use the untap aura or the mentor to untap Angus. He is now ready to go fishing. We pay 1 mana, tap angus, and tap the Fishing Pole to put a bait counter on it. We then use the unused un-tapper to untap Angus a second time, thus triggering the Fishing Pole's second ability to create a fish.

Step 6: The First One's Free

Now that Angus has a fish, he must decide what to do with it. He may either return to his Cooking Campsite   and use his Witch's Oven to cook the fish and eat it, or he can go to the High Market and sell the fish. Congratulations, you have successfully fed a man for a day.

Step 7: Fed for a Lifetime

Anglin' Angus doesn't end his adventure here, however. In order to sustain his active lifestyle, Angus will need a few more fish. Cast an additional untap creature because Angus will need somebody to carry all the fish for him, Ashnod's Altar to serve as the perfect table for preparing the fish, and Intruder Alarm in case any rival fishermen are in the area. Haste enablers such as Crashing Drawbridge (must not have summoning sickness) or Concordant Crossroads can be used if one or both of the untapping creatures have summoning sickness. First, tap Angus to crew the ship. Second, Untap Angus with the untap aura. Third, pay 1 mana, tap Angus and the fishing pole to put a bait counter on Fishing Pole. Use an untap creature to first untap the fishing pole then use the second to untap Angus, triggering Fishing Pole's second ability and creating a fish. When the fish token comes into play, you may untap all creatures. Sacrifice the fish to create 2 colorless mana, one of which you can use to activate Fishing Pole again. Repeat as much as you'd like, creating infinite colorless mana and infinite fish tokens.

Step 8: 1000 Wrongs Don't Make a Right

Once you have infinite mana and creatures, Angus can channel his pent up aggression in one of three ways: by "Bottling It Up" for the rest of his life, by "Letting It Out" on the next person who slightly inconveniences him, or by "Letting It Go" and leaving nature take its course. "Bottling It Up" requires you to have one more untap creature and The Millennium Calendar on a previous turn with a time counter on it. You can activate the ability to double the number of counters, untap the calendar with the un-tapper, and fish for another fish to repeat the cycle. Don't let anyone see your true emotions. "Letting It Out" requires you to play either Goblin Cannon, shooting your opponents with a giant mass of infinite fish guts, or Blasting Station, which prefers to coat them one gut at a time. "Letting It Go" utilizes the infinite fish tokens and Concordant Crossroads or Crashing Drawbridge to overwhelm your opponents with the salmon run of the century.

You have now singlehandedly thrown the global marine ecosystem into irreparable disarray and omega-oiled your friends to oblivion. I'm sure it's fine.
