Yooooo this deck is sweet. I really like the untapping/tapping shenanigans as a concept. Don't know if you're looking for suggestions, so don't feel compelled to make these changes if you don't want to.

I think you lack some way of protecting your Stonybrook Schoolmaster since you're so dependent on it. Maybe include some counterspells like the OG or Hindering Light?

Judge of Currents seems like a dope sideboard card against Aggro decks in theory, though I don't know how it work in practice. Might require some testing since your board does take a little bit to set up.

I think some redundant way to untap your dudes would help here. Stonybrook Angler is a way to do this, or if you want to move towards a Snow manabase you could play Rimewind Taskmage. Both cards I mentioned are also Wizards, so they get the discount from Stonybrook Banneret.

Vedalken Certarch But you probs wont have the craft for it.

Rimewind Taskmage But 4 snow may be late to get.

Stonybrook Angler But paying 2 to tap a critter isnt really playable.

Looks neat!

Are you using Garza Zol, Plague Queen for any reason? The new legendary Inalla, Archmage Ritualist is pretty easy to get right now, and taps for effects(and lets you get copies of Trinket Mage and Inspired Sprite to get more draws/artifact search.) Praetor's Grasp is always an amazing card to find something in an opponents deck.

Since you have a combo you want to get out, you might like cards like Whir of Invention, Artificer's Intuition, the more expensive Fabricate to get paradise out, and for getting the Freed from the Real try Drift of Phantasms and Dimir Machinations. You can also run the other transmute's like Dizzy Spell or Clutch of the Undercity etc. to find other things in your deck too.

Racecourse Fury is not especially high on the threat list, so you can have essentially free haste-enable on the cheap.Quicksilver Dagger enables tap+damage+draw a card for cheap. Unscythe, Killer of Kings is a silly card that might find a place.Hematite Talisman and Lapis Lazuli Talisman let you untap other creatures to boot.

I'd lose some of the instant/one-off untaps- they're cheap but only good for one motion, whereas you want to be doing it over and over again. Same with ETB like Breaching Hippocamp. Chain Stasis is fun because you could pay 2 to do it again on another creature, making it 2 - trigger inspired. Tidal Bore can let you get out an extra untap or tap when you're strapped for mana.

Niblis of the Breath and Puppeteer are really good(and are 3-drops for things like phantasm and machination searches), as are Stonybrook Angler.

Thassa's Ire isn't the most mana-effective option but it's a one-drop that lets you do it over and over again as long as you have mana. You also may want something like Fortuitous Find to bring back things. Recurr is always good! :D

I'm trying to build a wizard tribal deck with the cards I own, focused around Docent of Perfection  Flip and Sigil Tracer The cards listed here are the ones I want to use, still have to filter them before uploading a built deck. Please help me with ideas (any combo you see among the cards I propose???). Keeping it budget or zero purchase is the main goal.

Hey man this deck is awesome! I was thinking about making a deck just like it. Kiora's Follower and Stonybrook Angler could be added for additional tap/untap and Drowner of Secrets adds a mindcrank win condition.

For the ultimate budget commander I suggest Zedruu the Greathearted. Play pillow fort or Voltron with cheap auras.

Another cheap to build commander is Merieke Ri Berit. The strongest way to build her is actually Wizard tribal. Yes I know she's not a wizard herself. It actually stops Shattergang Brothers incredibly well and it's matchups are much less polarized than Azami, Lady of Scrolls. I have seen several builds with Merieke in the last few years but it wasn't until I saw the power of ESPER Wizards that I became a true believer.

Here's a starter list of cheap CMC (and $$$) Wizards to run with Merieke:
Azorius Guildmage
Coffin Queen
Patron Wizard
Lighthouse Chronologist (Go for damaged or heavily played) Magus of the Unseen (Sometimes good sometimes not)
Oracle en-Vec (Much better than he looks. Combos with wizards or spells that tap down their stuff.)
Azami, Lady of Scrolls (Cheap card draw)
Apprentice Necromancer (Bad early good late game.)
Aphetto Grifter (Really means "Tap a wizard other than this one and stall forever")
Aphetto Alchemist (Makes your commander into a kill spell and helps other wizards.)
Captain of the Mists (Combos with Gilded Lotus + Illusionist's Bracers
Musician (Slow but an ok starter Wizard)
Glen Elendra Archmage (Expensive but it's a flying Negate)
Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder (Optional, helps vs things like Dictate of Erebos)
Ertai, the Corrupted (Good with Endrek or enchantments that return to hand after they leave he battlefield, which there are 2-5 of in esper colors for 2-3 mana)
