Oh...I'm a God? Thought The Gitrog Monster when a bunch of dirty peasant came to his lake and offered him a lamb and some virgins. Having a simple and confortable life in lake Zhava, he just, from time to times, came out of the water to eat a cow, a deer or a lamb, whatever was nearby. Thus, it was a weird but pleasant surprise for it when some crazed village folks gave him their daughters and livestocks, with fear, reverence and madness in their eyes... "Oh well, okay then"

Aaaaah a frog commander, I've waited long and boy am I rewarded, The Gitrog Monster is a amazing card, filled to the brim with fantastic rule text and crying for combos! A fantastically fun deck to pilot, that requires some habit, but not so fun for your opponent(s).... A work in progress, inspired from a lot of sources, I've been wanting this for a long time... Don't be affraid to mulligan until you have a sizable amount of lands-in-hand, that's the trick.

CO-CO-CO-COMBOS*... and interractions:

-Dakmor Salvage + Worm Harvest = lots 'o' worms . Plus a Gitrog, that's more and more slmimy pals every turn.

-Ramunap Excavator + Strip Mine or Crucible of Worlds + Strip Mine ; the Flip a table combo

-Strip Mine + Titania, Protector of Argoth and/or Sylvan Safekeeper + Titania, Protector of Argoth ...etc the Angry Compost

-*Exsanguinate + Squandered Resources (or Torment of Hailfire ) the Salty expanses

-Dakmor Salvage + Skirge Familiar into Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire , the Imp Ray . This one is very classy ; you got to have both The Gitrog Monster and Skirge Familiar in play and a Dakmor Salvage in hand. No need to have Torment of Hailfire / Exsanguinate in your hand when you start dredging away Dakmor, for whenever you mill a land card, you'll be able to put a draw on the stack and get you some cards. Whatever you don't need can also be discarded by Skirge Familiar 's ability! (you can get any of those with Traverse the Ulvenwald ), discard dakmor with skirge ability, draw, repeat until you have enough to cast a deadly Exsanguinate/Hailfire. Wow!

-Entomb + Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Entomb + Gaea's Blessing to protect your graveyard from nasty Bojuka Bog , Tormod's Crypt and the like!

-Devoted Druid + Quillspike Fat Spikes Harder to pull, but can kill in one shot if it passes, or be sacked with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord for a user friendly nuke.

*most combos, in fact most everything in this deck, works better with Gitrog
