Enchantment (1)

Creature (1)

An akido style pillow fort deck which 'encourages' my opponents to attack each other.

The Fort

Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse and Norn's Annex provide the classic tax effects, Ophiomancer, No Mercy, and the Queen herself are also disincentive's to attack me. The deathtochers are especially potent when paired with Archetype of Courage or Odric, Lunarch Marshal and a first striker.

"And the man in the back said everyone attack"

Having a fort built up is no good if everyone else is going to sit back. Fumiko the Lowblood and Warmonger Hellkite get the party started. The hellkite is a little more risky, but since everyone else has to attack first, we can usually find someone who has no good blocks. In fact if we pair everyone attacking with Authority of the Consuls, Blind Obedience or Thalia, Heretic Cathar, we can make sure Noone blocks ever again. Which brings us to the next stage of our plan...

"Reach out and touch things"

Phage the Untouchable. The mana cost is greedy, we die to a flicker effect, and it puts a massive target on our back, but I love this card. There is nothing like methodically slaughtering the table while they have to keep attacking each other. Master of Cruelties also accomplishes this, but is nowhere near as risky and therefore less fun.

Interaction/The sunforger package

There are some games where we don't have the Fort set up, or someone is doing unfair things faster than us, where we need to interact fast. There is a lot of single target removal in this deck, and all at instant speed. A well timed Anguished Unmaking or Chaos Warp can be the making of a game. All these instants are also castable with Sunforger which I've found is the best card in the deck. Sitting back with an equipped sunforger and knowing you have any answer is a good feeling. A quick rundown of what to fetch when.

-Alpha strike: Settle the Wreckage

-One big threat: Anguished Unmaking /Chaos Warp, or Deflecting Palm if its coming your way.

-Combo/exanguinate win: Teferi's Protection, bonus points for killing someone who's just made infinite creatures with a Rakdos Charm

-Board wipe: The aforementioned protection, or Boros Charm

Double or nothing (or how we win)

If we don't by individually one shot our opponent's we have a few ways to win, sometimes from nowhere.

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight + Heartless Hidetsugu Or Heartless Hidetsugu + Wound Reflection

Either kills everyone or puts them to one.

Insurrection, or Mob Rule can sometimes just win.

Revel in Riches has become a new favourite win con, especially paired with an instant speed wrath.

Theres also Deflecting Palm or Delerium which can take down someone who's attacking you with a big threat.
