It's french for "havoc", I promise. Rakdos loves havoc.

Something I intend to try out in cockatrice and then maybe build IRL (with all the pricy stuff like mana crypt and badlands swapped out). The goal isn't so much to win at any cost as it is to just be as theatrical (and theatrically cruel) as possible, hence the inclusion of cards like Captive Audience , Lord of the Void , Possibility Storm , and ways to tutor our goofiest combo; Casting Insidious Dreams to stack out deck immediately before swinging with Hellcarver Demon . It's like the world's flashiest Doomsday ! To complement Rakdos, we're also running the following goodies:

• A sort of demon tribal package in the form of Urza's Incubator and Herald's Horn

• Conjurer's Closet , Panharmonicon , Mirror March , and Krark's Thumb , to really squeeze the most of Rakdos's ETB, as well as a large suite of other demons and motley mortals with excellent ETB abilities.

• Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots to protect Rakdos (and to give Hellcarver Demon haste).

• An absolute ton of mana rocks, ramp, and card draw to support our hideously, hilariously top-heavy mana curve.

*Stack it with what, exactly? Well, one example could be Havoc Festival , Jokulhaups , Rise of the Dark Realms , and all three of our planeswalkers... none of which are actually that good on an empty board. Maybe swap one of them for a Sire Of Insanity (making sure to cast it off of Hellcarver LAST) to really seal the deal?
