Whne building this deck i thought...what does the Commander do? easy....PROLIFERATE! so i thought what are the best counters to proliferate...infect? so i built this deck with infect...and i had no fun playing it...seemed too easy. then i thought loyalty....PLANESWALKERS! and this is what i came up with! I chose these planeswalkers for three reasons...put +1/+1 counters Atraxa(creatures in general)...they leave something behind when killed(which happens A LOT!), like an emblem...and finally can control the board a little (ex: exile/destroy nonland permanent.

The deck should play around the following:

  1. Get commander out ASAP to start proliferating counters. a. Get a +1/+1 counter on Commander(Commander damage a is win con)
  2. Get Doubling Season out--keep it out--play Planeswalkers=opponents "scoop". a. If you can't, put as many threats on the board. -make them chose their targets carefully. b. Play slow and use Commander/support cards to stall (Spike Weaver). -Once enough mana, play multiple threats...unleash!(As Foretold) -Proliferate counters to RAMP your mana(Dreadship Reef/Astral Cornucopia)
  3. Protect Planeswalkers with Commander and other Planeswalkers/cards. a. Force them "between a rock and a hard place" b. Get emblems out ASAP--most opponents will "scoop" when you have 2+
  4. Use other support cards to "sneak" in a win/scoop. a. Infinite turns (Contagion engine + Commander + Magistrate's scepter) -Others: Darksteel Reactor+Deepglow Skate+Vorel of the Hull Clade Spike Weaver+Commander+Planeswalker=easy emblems Brago, King Enternal+Planeswalker=easy "- abilities"
  5. Don't get mana SCREWED (don't screw yourself--start with the right colors) -3 lands with a mana rock is ideal(make sure Commander is out NLT turn 4) a. Get counters on those storage lands whenever you can!
  6. Play "politics" if needed when having a slow start (turn 1-4 just lands) -You have 4/4 flying/lifelink/deathtouch/vigilance Commander=getting even!
  7. Make sure to have FUN! (emblems are only fun for the person playing them)

Cards on the chopping block: Planar Bridge (doesn't work with Profilerate...but gets what i need on the board) Wargate (Switched out for Tezzeret's Gambit) vivid lands (once i get the filter lands/Fetch lands) Signets (once i get filter lands/maybe put other ramp--ex: rampant growth)
