Aetherflux Reservoir Storm

Commander / EDH

Greeno85

Another Aetherflux Reservoir EDH Storm deck.

The goal is a deck that can cast 20 spells in one turn to kill 3-4 opponents.

First Draft Complete: Possibly too powerful and linear? I'm proxying the Opal and Crypt for testing purposes, and it's possible the deck may run at an acceptable power level without them.

Version 1.1: Deck seems fine without Mox Opal or Mana Crypt. And by fine I mean broken as all hell. At least with Paradox Engine.

1.2: Counterspell seems like such a horrible thing to cascade into that I pulled it. The Burnished Hart was also not what the deck wants to be doing at all, so it's gone too. In come Remand and Unsubstantiate, both will be usually fine to cascade into, and improve the very minor suite of counters at the same time.

Noxious Revival has been very high variance for me, I'm watching it closely and considering swapping it out. NR has usually been great at pulling out good stuff from the GY, however, the most common problematic situation is when I cascade into NR from a low CMC spell and can't put anything expensive on top, as the Cascade trigger will mill right past the top card.

Mystic Remora ends up being almost completely dead on the combo turn, may need to be replaced.

This deck is nuts with Paradox Engine out.
