My Hapatra EDH build. Fairly standard for Hapatra with a focus on creating tokens and making our opponents lose through going wide with tokens, infinite combo shenanigans, and hoping that no one plays Back to Basics or Ruination . I would rate this deck 7.5 /8 out of 10 on the competitive scale Token swarm! Token generators and go-wide cards: Oran-Rief, the Vastwood : if you pump out a ton of snakes or elves at once, why not make them 2/2s? Skullclamp : Draw cards like crazy! One of the best cards in the deck! Heraldic Banner : add green mana and pump all the snakes for a +1 Triumph of the Hordes : kill them with poison! If they pull some tricks to survive a lethal infect strike, your tokens that hit creatures will put negative counters on them and make you more tokens so its not a total loss. Seshiro the Anointed : pumps your snakes and allows for card draw. Great card in the deck! Ohran Frostfang : draw tons of cards with your swarm attacks! Cryptolith Rite :makes those snakes tap for mana! Beastmaster Ascension : pump the whole team a crazy amount. Hold this in hand until you can swing with 7 or more at once (generally). Growing rites of itlamoc: budget Gaea's Cradle Spidersilk Armor : Make your snakes tougher and now they can shoot venom into the skies! Parallel Lives : double up on tokens!

Combo! Yawgmoth, Thran Physician . Most powerful card in the deck. This deck really is a Yawgmoth deck 1st and Hapatra deck second in many regards. Ivy Lane Denizen Pump out a ton of green snakes due to -1/-1 counters and make something huge or just negate the negative counters on your own creatures for dark shenanigans. Mikaeus, the Unhallowed Sacrifice creatures with -1/-1 counters and they comeback with +1/+1 counters that can be removed with a negative counter (like from Yawgmoth). Devoted Druid does this on its own. Obelisk Spider or Zulaport Cutthroat with infinite creature deaths (like Devoted Druid & Makaeus) or just a ton of creatures die at once.
