Nekusar gets a bad rep. That comes from the fact, that you constantly discard people's hands and it becomes inconsistent. So, instead of getting pressured into playing a weaker Nekusar deck, this deck goes on the more aggressive with the discard and draw damage.

However, Nekusar is a rather slow commander, so you have to slow down the board. For this I use Torpor Orb, Winter Orb and other cards. Don't be afraid to play them early and looking for them, because this is one of the ways, you can slow people down. Of course, you have counters, bounces and some targeted removal to keep yourself in the lead and in control.

This deck is different from many decks. Usually, most decks just wheel you and try to kill you with Nekusar's damage. However, this deck offers you a variety of ways to win. There are infinite combos, discard, poison and Notion Thief wins.

There are two infinite combos: 1. Bloodchief Ascencion + Mindcrank is a slower combo, since you need Bloodchief to get those three counters (one way to do this is to just have Nekusar in the field). Once you have the counters, everybody loses the game by either milling their libraries or losing enough life (a note must be added, that opponents must either take damage or put a card into their graveyards). 2. Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter is an infinite mana combo, which requires you to have a couple of mana rocks on the battlefield, which you most likely will have. With this you can generate infinite mana, and then use either many wheel effects or Blue Sun's Zenith in combination with Laboratory Maniac to win the game. You can also use Psychosis Crawler with the Blue Sun's to draw your entire library and kill your opponents. If you have one piece of this combo and probably need to wheel, then you should probably mill and not wait for the combo to happen (There is some graveyard recursion, so no worries about discarding).

You can also use discard options, where you can put things like Waste Not or Liliana's Caress to generate value and make your opponents lose their lives while discarding. Also, if you use Dream Halls then you can continue discard and killing your opponents till the end of time. Also, infinite mana combo also adds this effect.

Of course, the discard is also tied to draw, so Nekusar and many other cards can help you with that effect. But if you want to kill your opponents faster with damage, then you must run poisons effects, like Phyresis, so you can wheel your opponents and when they draw, they lose the game much faster.

And then there is a more concrete combo, which is using Notion Thief in combination with wheels and LabMan. Using these cards and wheels like Windfall you draw so many cards, and your opponents sit empty handed and you have a lot of cards in your hand. When you wheel again, with the same effect and having like thirty cards in your hand, you will draw out your deck, so LabMan will win you the game. It is harder to pull off since, the Thief will get a lot of hate.

These are only the few combos I found. But most of the cards you will put on the field or the stack will draw you hate, which is what this deck is about. They may hate, but you will win.
