I wanted to build Izzet Storm without using any infinite combos. I considered Mizzix and Niv-Mizzet but for whatever reason neither of those interested me. I ended up going with Jori En in an infinite combo-less storm deck that relies on enchantments and artifacts to lower mana costs of spells to storm off to kill at least one person, usually involving either Empty the Warrens or Ignite Memories. I've been enjoying it a lot so far and it's turning out way more powerful than I thought it would be. Jori En isn't a hugely flashy commander, but it's lower mana cost reliable card draw that is essential to making the deck function.
