here's my updates to my daily driver deck, most of these are small changes to keep up with my playgroup's current meta

reasons for cuts:

1 & 2: rarely used to cheat in creatures & rarely cast overall

3,4,6 & 8: moved to deck:nethroi-apex-of-creature-types/ to help smooth over the manabase inconsistencies

5: self life-loss is lower due to Mana Crypt being cut (always losing flips), so lifelink equipment isn't needed so much

7 & 9: Meta Cards cut due to decreased appearances of targeted decks

Kiki + Zealous Show

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts = Standard Kiki combo here, make the dudes, swing

Dualcaster + Twinflame/ Heat Shimmer Show

Dualcaster Mage + either Twinflame or Heat Shimmer = cast Twinflame or Heat Shimmer targeting 1 Creature (important part), cast Card:Dualcaster Mage copying Twinflame or Heat Shimmer, Make many dudes, swing

Feldon + 2x Activation Show

Card:Feldon of the Third Path + either Illusionist's Bracers or Rowan Kenrith's Emblem = with Card:Zealous Conscripts & Dockside Extortionist in grave, with Card:Feldon of the Third Path set up with 2x Activations, you can loop Feldon's activations to make Infinite Mana (relying on 3+ artifacts/ enchantments for Dockside to see) & dudes, swing.

Anti-Oracle Consultation Show

Dire Fleet Daredevil + Emergence Zone + Heat Shimmer = this is entirely for the late game Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation combos that have appeared in the local meta.

How to cheese the win:

1. They resolve Thassa's Oracle
2. They resolve Card:Demonic Consultation
3. You respond to Thassa's Oracle's ETB Trigger, activating Emergence Zone
4. You cast Card:Heat Shimmer targeting their Thassa's Oracle
5. You respond to your Thassa's Oracle's ETB, casting Card:Dire Fleet Daredevil
6. You target their Card:Demonic Consultation in their grave with Card:Dire Fleet Daredevil's ETB
7. You resolve Card:Demonic Consultation & then let Thassa's Oracle's ETB resolve
8. Win with Thassa's Oracle + Card:Demonic Consultation, in Mono Red, with their win on the stack.
